00:00 Hello and welcome to Sports Illustrated's coverage of the Las Vegas Grand Prix presented
00:05 by McLeod Ultra. I'm Lydia Mee, joined by Alex Harrington here in Las Vegas, and although
00:11 it was Max Verstappen who was ultimately victorious today, it was Sergio Perez's day.
00:15 Yeah, it really was. He did a brilliant race, possibly the best race of his season so far.
00:22 He may have come third, he may have been clinched by Charles Leclerc on the last lap of the
00:27 race, he took second in the driver's standings. It is confirmed the first time ever for Red
00:34 Bull. It's a 1-2. Isn't that exciting? Now, let's talk about the race. I mean, Vegas,
00:40 we've had our ups and downs, but on the Saturday night, come on, it was great, wasn't it?
00:45 They delivered. I mean, I was expecting a bit of a lull in the middle like you get in
00:49 every race, but throughout the whole thing, constantly, I was on the edge of my seat.
00:55 I mean, I know we're talking about Perez, but that finish from Charles Leclerc was incredible.
01:00 He deserved it as well. He deserved it. He needed something like that this year. If any
01:05 driver deserves a win, I'm sorry, Charles, you didn't get it, but come on, that was a
01:09 great moment. Look, Las Vegas has given us, it's been bluffing, it's been bluffing a few
01:15 times this weekend, but when the chips were down, it showed us the full house. That's
01:21 it for Sports Illustrated's coverage of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Thank you so much for
01:25 watching.
