00:00 So we went to Leeds Fest to help with clean up.
00:02 There's so much stuff left after people leave and if volunteers can't collect it all it just gets swept into a heap.
00:06 We wanted to make upcycled bags out of tent fabric like this one.
00:10 So first we picked our tent.
00:13 Then we cut off the bits that we didn't need.
00:15 Then we gave it a good wash because people can be nasty.
00:17 And then we had to make our pattern.
00:19 We did this by tracing around a bag that we already had and then leaving a bit around the edges for seam allowance.
00:24 After that we cut it out.
00:26 Here you can see we cut it out on the zippers so we could reuse the zippers.
00:30 Then we sewed it together and that foam stuff you can see that's in the face it helps keep it stiff.
00:35 And voila, our finished product.
00:37 Original tent zips.
00:40 Secret pocket made from the fly knitting.
00:42 And here you can see Joe modelling it.
00:46 We're gonna be giving this bag away on our Instagram account so follow us for more.
00:52 I don't think y'all heard me
00:54 I woke up early this morning
