Not all stories go to plan. Some stories are meant to end, others not so much. It's time to let go, and write a new one. I know who I was, and can no longer be. Those memories are forever, and nothing will replace them.
I may be ashamed of myself for what I did or didn't do, or I may not be. I may want to move forwards, but I may get stuck. And that's ok. Because I'm not looking for closure anymore. And I'm not looking for any replacements.
I'm moving on. I'm tired of pretending to be someone I'm not. And now you have your answer.
There was no fiction. There was no myth. This was no ARG. They're gone. And that is reality. I am a storyteller, not a socializer. And you can consider this my final chapter on the grim fable of PCVeteran. Why he left, and what he left behind.
Now, I'm going to build a new world. Somewhere they won't ever find me.
I am rogue. And if you wish to join me. You can be too. I don't know who's left, or why they're still here. But there's no better time than now to find out.
