00:00 I went up to the bar and I stood at the bar for a few minutes.
00:04 There was four people standing at the bar.
00:06 There was one on the public side, which was the supervisor,
00:09 and three members of staff.
00:14 One eventually came up to serve me.
00:16 She started to serve the drinks.
00:18 Then another lady came up and said,
00:20 "Sorry, but we're not serving you on suspicions."
00:25 Which mean on suspicions?
00:27 On suspicions of drugs.
00:30 I'm like, "I just could not understand that.
00:33 I couldn't see where me standing at the bar,
00:35 they've got that from."
00:36 The supervisor then came along and said,
00:38 "So it's been raised by my member of staff
00:41 that we've got suspicions of you taking drugs.
00:47 We'll let you sit and have your meal and drinks,
00:49 then we'd like you to leave."
00:51 I said, "Do you want to think about your decision
00:54 you're making?"
00:55 I gave her a chance because I know myself
00:58 that I've never taken drugs, I'm very ready to drink.
01:03 She then went over to the manager,
01:05 and the manager just nodded to her
01:07 after whatever she said to the manager.
01:09 She then came back and said, "Yes, sorry,
01:10 but we'll need you to leave."
01:13 My other half came up to the bar and she said,
01:17 "What's happening?"
01:19 She told her, and she said,
01:20 "We'll grab the money back and we'll leave."
01:23 As I turned around, a friend of mine was standing
01:26 at the third in the queue,
01:28 and he said to me, "Alan, what's happening?"
01:31 I said, "I've been refused a drink
01:33 because of suspicions of me taking drugs."
01:36 And he started laughing, like, in shock, I think.
01:40 Shocked, embarrassed.
01:43 Couldn't understand it.
01:46 Wonder what I was being accused of
01:50 when someone says they have suspicions.
01:52 I'm like, "Well, what suspicions?"
01:54 Bearing in mind, in my head,
01:57 I had no thoughts of drugs or anything else.
02:02 So, yeah, she's a gobsmacked.
02:03 Still embarrassed. I'm still shocked by it.
02:06 I'm laughing about it because I think, actually,
02:08 shock coming out of being accused of something
02:11 that I've never, ever done.
02:12 My other half is the same.
