First NERF Action Xperience in Europe officially opens in Manchester

The first NERF Action Xperience in Europe has launched in Manchester.

NERF Action Xperience, an action packed entertainment attraction has officially opened with seven days a week access at Trafford Palazzo.

The indoor entertainment centre is the first ever in Europe and features four action-packed NERF zones, including themed blaster battlegrounds, training activities and a NERF sports arena.

Following a soft opening period where trailblazing enthusiasts could try out the new venue, the site is officially open to the public every day of the week.

The venue is managed by Manchester-based entertainment specialists Rocafella Leisure and under license from leading toy and game company Hasbro.

00:43 "So in Nerve Action Experience, we have four zones. The first zone that you'll come into is

00:49 sports at NACS and there's seven different fun-fuelled sports games in there, from turbo

00:55 throw, velocity volley, there's basketball, there's all different types of games in there

00:59 for you to get involved in. We have two dedicated blaster zones where you go in and have blaster

01:04 battles. One of them is with our gel fires and it's the first Nerve Action Experience to deliver

01:12 on the gel fires, so that's a really big hit with our customers. And upstairs in Mission X,

01:17 we use a dedicated blaster which is not available in retail and you get to try that out in Mission

01:25 X. We also have our training zone and that's where you get to hone in on your skills,

01:30 trying to take your aim, take practice and again you have seven games up there, so a lot of variety.

01:36 Everyone naturally would think that a Nerve Experience would be aimed towards maybe the

01:41 five to twelve year olds, but we have found that everyone, families are coming down, young families,

01:47 five year olds, teenagers, adults, adults are having their hen and stag parties in the evening.

01:53 We are really big on children's birthdays as well, so we're getting a wide range and the demographic

01:58 is amazing for this experience. One of the centre's combat zones uses high performance

02:04 gel fire blasters, an exciting new product from Nerve not currently in play anywhere else.

02:09 The rounds burst on impact and eliminate the need to reload as often. The venue is also home to the

02:15 first dedicated Nerve store in the UK, which sells a range of products to take home and use anytime.

02:22 Nerve Action Experience has partnered with iconic restaurant Archie's next door,

02:26 providing delicious food and drink for parties and casual guests.

02:30 People have grown up with the product with Nerve and they've grown up right through their childhood.

02:35 In Chaos, you'll notice when you walk in, obviously again giving your gel, your gel fires,

02:41 your gel blasters and then when we start the game we hit the music, the intense kicks in,

02:46 the suspense kicks in, you're into two teams, it's capture the flag, everyone's excited,

02:51 it also goes quite dark in there, the music's going, everyone's smiling, everyone's laughing,

02:56 but you've also got that competitive side in there because you've got the two teams,

03:00 so it's a really great feeling inside there.
