00:13 replace but actually if someone's lived in that property for a long time, they've been
00:17 paying rent, it's their home, yes, right to buy it but that right isn't that you get loads
00:24 loads of discount that we can't replace the stock and etc. So I think we need to review
00:31 the way right to buy works, not abolish it but also make it right and fair that we replace
00:37 that stock so we've got the stock. Be fair to the people who have lived, you know if
00:43 you've lived in that house, I grew up in the same house, the council house, you know if
00:48 you've raised your kids there, my mum and dad have been there 30 years, then yeah, I
00:52 mean it's their home but the point is that we've got to make sure that that's fair and
00:57 equitable to the public purse and the taxpayers and that we can then build more affordable
01:02 housing on the back of it.
