00:00 More sunshine on offer for many tomorrow away from a showery zone of wet weather
00:05 which just continues through the day across Scotland, Northern Ireland and
00:09 Northern England although it will tend to fragment as we head through
00:12 Wednesday afternoon. And then all eyes are on the southwest this developing
00:16 area of low pressure will track from Wales and the West Country moving
00:20 eastwards through Thursday so gales outbreaks of rain the rain spilling
00:24 towards Northern Ireland, Northern England more cloud across southern parts
00:28 of Scotland some showers across eastern Scotland through the day on Thursday
00:31 notice this low though just moves towards the low countries as we head
00:35 through the last part of Thursday and into Friday morning. Backtrack to Tuesday
00:39 evening and it's wet across Scotland. A strong wind across Northern Ireland and
00:43 Western Scotland delivering some showers here a few showers continue anywhere
00:47 from Yorkshire northwards further south some clearer skies mid Wales Midlands
00:52 East Anglia the southeast but a bit of a breeze down towards the West Country
00:55 again you could see a few showers across the peninsular southern parts of Wales
00:59 temperatures holding up generally although frost to start the day across
01:02 the far north of Scotland. First thing then on Wednesday morning let's pick up
01:06 on this rain so this strong wind continues to bring with it some intense
01:10 bursts of rain across the southwest of Scotland clipping Northern Ireland
01:14 northwest England showery bursts of rain tend to fragment across the Grampians
01:18 Angus as well as Aberdeenshire down towards border regions to the south
01:21 we'll see some sunny skies and just one or two isolated showers and towards the
01:26 north yes some brighter weather as well albeit rather chilly. Now through the
01:31 afternoon the winds will tend to ease across England and Wales but still a bit
01:34 of a breeze running across Pennine districts from the southwest of Scotland
01:38 and still some showery bursts of rain here as we head into Wednesday evening
01:42 temperatures then typically around 9 to 11 degrees Celsius. Now through Wednesday
01:48 evening and overnight a legacy of clouds across central and southern parts of
01:52 Scotland eastern counts of England where we could see still a little bit of wet
01:56 weather but not a lot clearer skies elsewhere certainly a frost across
02:00 central northern areas of Scotland as temperatures dip down to around minus 2
02:03 minus 3 degrees Celsius and thickening cloud brings outbreaks of rain to the
02:07 southwest of England central southern England as well as Wales through the
02:11 early hours of the morning. It's going to be a chilly start to the day on Thursday
02:14 Northern Ireland the Midlands Northern England quite cold here even some
02:18 pockets of frost to start the day and then it turns wet and windy. Now we are
02:23 likely to see gales across the West Country even the south coast through the
02:28 morning so this rain could intensify further as it spills towards southern
02:33 parts of Yorkshire covering much of Wales as well as Northern Ireland. Some
02:36 showers running in across eastern parts of Scotland through the day brighter
02:39 skies though across the northwest of Scotland so all in all yes more wet and
02:43 windy weather it does clear off the scene and that means on Friday a better
02:47 day all round a lighter breeze just a few showers.
