00:08 So clearly yoga is the same, the only difference is the temperature.
00:13 When you work your body in a warmer temperature, clearly it's a stress for your body,
00:21 so it does make your heart pump a little bit faster,
00:24 it makes your cardiovascular system work a little bit more efficiently.
00:28 The fact that your body is warm, it will help your stretching,
00:31 your stress, what we call a tolerance, goes up a little bit,
00:35 so you are able to stretch a little bit deeper than you would be in a little bit cooler environment.
00:42 And let alone when you sweat, you just feel really good and the happy hormones increase,
00:49 so basically if you're under stress or anxiety,
00:52 the fact that you feel good hormones will really help you just to relax a bit more.
00:58 In general terms, people have a preconception that yoga is for bendy people,
01:04 young people, really fit people, and we actually get participants from all across the board,
01:15 like young, older, fit, unfit, not flexible, very flexible,
01:22 some people who've never done any sport before, some professional athletes,
01:27 but we all can come together in one class because it is really accessible for all levels and everyone.
01:35 We offer flow type of yoga, that's kind of 90% of our classes.
01:43 We also offer a very chilled type of yoga, which is called nurturing flow,
01:49 and that's for people who are mainly looking for really deeply relaxed with the class,
01:54 it's less movement, it is movement, but it's less than the flow that we've just done.
02:00 So, yeah, people who want to really chill out, we offer that,
02:07 but then people who are kind of looking to move a little bit more and stretch out and get a little bit heat,
02:13 we offer the more of a dynamic type of flow, which is called vinyasa flow in yoga language.
02:21 So I just completed my first Hopwood yoga class.
02:25 The biggest challenge, the hardest part was going in, but once I was there, it was completely fine,
02:31 everyone was very lovely, there was people there of all abilities.
02:34 I've never been to a yoga class before. I felt very comfortable and I didn't feel pressure to do anything that I couldn't.
02:41 I honestly feel great as well. I switched off, completely switched off.
02:49 The temperature was really nice, it wasn't too overwhelming, but it did make you work a bit harder, which is never a bad thing.
02:58 So overall I'm very happy.
