00:00 Last year in Chicago, Dodge showed us their Nitro in concept form.

00:14 Well, here in 2006, they've got the production version.

00:18 This is the 2007 Dodge Nitro SUV.

00:21 It's a smaller companion to the Dodge Durango.

00:24 It's actually based on the Jeef Liberty with a wheelbase that's been stretched four inches

00:29 to improve interior room.

00:31 Outside, the Nitro has the signature Dodge crosshair grille, a look that'll be exported

00:37 to international markets.

00:39 Yes, left and right hand drive versions will be produced by early 2007.

00:44 Three different trim levels will be offered, a base, SLT, and RT models.

00:51 Interiors will be done in cloth, vinyl, or leather, depending on the model.
