00:03 This is Rob Canan from Hot Rod Magazine,
00:16 and this is day two of the Hot Rod Power Tour.
00:19 We started in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
00:21 Had a little talk by Senator Bill Posey and astronaut John
00:24 McBride in the rocket garden.
00:26 Then we got an unprecedented tour, probably
00:28 about 900 Power Tour cars got to go through this facility,
00:33 make a lap of where the space shuttle is assembled and taken
00:36 out to the launch pad.
00:37 Then we hit the road for Valdosta, Georgia,
00:43 and South Georgia Motorsports Park.
00:46 On the way, as is usual on Power Tour,
00:48 we saw some great roadside sites,
00:50 including this really cool junkyard
00:53 full of rusty old Mopars.
00:55 We think they can be saved.
00:57 Once at South Georgia Motorsports Park,
00:59 a lot of the Power Tour participants
01:00 hit the drag strip to see what their cars would do.
01:03 Join us tomorrow for day three of the Power Tour,
01:10 where we road trip it to Montgomery, Alabama.
