00:00 Good news for our news reporters in Zamboanga, Peninsula and Ilocos Region.

00:05 Your daily wage is increasing.

00:08 The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board has approved a 30 pesos increase in daily wages

00:15 for non-agricultural establishments like those in the retail or service sectors.

00:20 But there should be 31 employees or more in the establishment.

00:25 Those with 10 to 30 employees will receive a 2-tranche increase in daily minimum wage.

00:32 They will receive a 30 pesos increase and 13 pesos increase in February 2024.

00:40 So, in total, the daily wage will be 381 pesos.

00:45 The establishment with up to 11 employees and those in agricultural establishments will also receive an increase in wages.

00:54 There will also be an increase in daily wages in Region 1 from 30 to 35 pesos depending on the sector.
