00:02 The increase in wages in Ilocos Region and Western Visayas is now approved.

00:07 The Labor Department said that the increase in wages in Ilocos Region is from 30 to 35 pesos.

00:13 That's why the daily minimum wage for non-agriculture establishments is now 435 pesos.

00:19 The non-agriculture establishments and agriculture establishments are now paying 402 pesos,

00:26 which is less than 10 employees. That's effective on November 6.

00:30 In Western Visayas, on November 16, the approved 30 pesos increase in wages will start.

00:36 The daily minimum wage for non-agriculture employees will be 480 pesos.

00:42 The non-agriculture employees will be paid 450 pesos, which is less than 10 workers,

00:48 and 440 pesos for agriculture workers.

00:52 A 500 pesos wage hike will be approved every month for the residents of Ilocos Region and Western Visayas.
