Protesters Rally in D.C. to Oppose Biden's Policy on Israel-Hamas Conflict

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Washington D.C. on Saturday to demand a ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza and to oppose U.S. President Joe Biden's policy towards the war. Protesters carried placards calling for "Palestinian Lives Matter" and saying, "Their blood is in on your hands," criticizing the U.S. government for not supporting calls for a blanket ceasefire. Activist groups organized buses to bring demonstrators from across the country to Washington D.C. for what they called the "National March on Washington: Free Palestine." Israel has refused Washington's attempts to convince it to agree to limited ceasefires.
