Tesla plans to integrate Elon Musk's newly launched AI assistant called Grok in its electric vehicles. Grok is an AI chatbot modeled after "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and is intended to answer questions with humor. It was launched by Musk's new AI startup called xAI. An early beta tester reported that a "smaller quantized" version of Grok will run natively in Tesla vehicles using the onboard computer. Elon Musk confirmed this on Twitter. Grok is becoming available in early beta to some Tesla X users, with plans to expand from there.
