The Coulomb's Law Concept

  • last year
Charles de Coulomb, a French physicist conducted research on electrically charged objects. He concluded that "the magnitude of the force of attraction or repulsion between two electrically charged objects is directly proportional to the charge of each object, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the two objects." This statement is often referred to as Coulomb's Law. Mathematically, Coulomb's Law can be written as, F equals k q1 q2 over r squared.
