00:00 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're exploring our picks for the infamous moments when the
00:10 rudest, most belligerent, and entitled people exploded with emotion, only to receive delightful
00:16 consequences in one form or another.
00:21 Casino Karens
00:24 In 2021, Army veteran Rollis Devon Leslie Jr. was dubbed a hero after helping police
00:36 save a woman from a bridge.
00:38 Some time later, he was in the Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana.
00:47 Allegedly, Leslie sat too close for a Karen couple's liking, and they exploded… in
00:54 rage.
00:55 Leslie managed to record the incident showcasing a clearly drunk Ashley Bieber Dyson attempting
01:00 to assault him while restrained by her partner.
01:12 Before you praise the guy, he later used racial slurs when Leslie checked where security was.
01:18 The couple was charged by the police for disturbing the peace and public intoxication.
01:32 Judgmental Nurse
01:33 Typically, nurses are kind, knowledgeable, and hard-working.
01:36 They're not meant to be judgmental, confrontational, and seemingly racist.
01:41 But that's what Jillian Reitmeyer experienced in 2022 at the Philly Pregnancy Center in
01:46 Norristown, Pennsylvania.
01:56 After experiencing severe back pain, Reitmeyer wanted to get a doctor's note to start her
02:00 maternity leave early.
02:02 While a doctor went to write the exemption, nurse practitioner Teresa Smigo, who did the
02:06 exam, went on a rant about Reitmeyer's life situation, making assumptions with no evidence
02:12 to back her up except prejudice and knocked her with the case.
02:22 Weirdly, Smigo previously called the cops on Reitmeyer after she called her a weirdo.
02:30 The nurse no longer works at the center and was later sued by Reitmeyer.
02:34 Mailbox Speeding
02:35 In 2022, the police arrived to break up a disagreement in Deerfield Beach, Florida between
02:41 legendary footballer Terrell Owens and his neighbor, Kaitlyn Davis.
02:54 Owens stated he was driving to his mailbox when Davis started yelling at him.
02:58 While sobbing, Davis claimed Owens started harassing her after she scolded him for his
03:02 dangerous driving.
03:04 She then brought race into it… for some reason.
03:15 As the footballer was able to back up his version with his recorded video, Davis had
03:19 nothing to support her side.
03:29 As such, she later received a misdemeanor charge of lying to the law.
03:34 However, in 2023, the charges were dropped due to a loophole.
03:39 Dared to Slur
03:40 Getting dared to do something rarely works out, and it definitely didn't for one white
03:45 woman in a 7-Eleven store in Sacramento, California in 2020.
03:50 Seemingly recorded by the cashier, the Karen and a black woman are engaged in an argument.
03:59 Then the Karen utters a racial slur.
04:01 The woman dared her to say it again.
04:04 While she hesitated, Karen eventually went for it.
04:07 The woman exploded with rage and struck the Karen several times, putting her on the floor,
04:11 where she began sobbing.
04:16 Reportedly, the cops arrived shortly after, and the Karen received medical treatments.
04:25 We're not sure what the argument is really about, but it takes privilege to assume using
04:30 racial slurs won't backfire on you.
04:40 Pool Patroller
04:41 In 2023, Jace Lee Urie and his sister decided to break the rules and use a resident-only
04:47 swimming pool when visiting friends at Sedgefield Gardens in Greensboro, North Carolina.
04:52 The pool has signs that say "No Trespassing" and for adults to accompany their children,
04:56 but the siblings say this is not the first time they have visited the pool.
05:00 Instead of handling this rationally and respectfully, apartment manager Kim Jennings poured soda
05:05 over Lee Urie and then hit him with the bottle.
05:09 Lee Urie also claimed Jennings pulled his sister's hair and his family stated she used
05:13 slurs.
05:14 While Jennings apologized, she claimed the kids had done this before, as though that
05:19 justified her actions.
05:33 The police arrested Jennings for two charges of assault on a child.
05:37 To make it worse for her, the Lee Urie family also issued a federal lawsuit against her.
05:43 NFL Karen
05:44 In 2022, Jerry Edmond went to his first NFL game to see his beloved New England Patriots
05:50 take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Paradise, Nevada.
05:53 While his side lost in the last minutes, that wasn't the only thing Edmonds will remember.
05:59 A Raiders fan yelled at him, rubbed the victory in his face, and called it "her stadium"
06:04 as another man tried to pull her away.
06:13 Jerry says he tried to watch his words, but admits to a little trash talk.
06:21 All was captured on a viral video, as was Edmonds calm reaction, which was amazing under
06:27 horrible circumstances.
06:29 To make up for the incident, Patriots owner Robert Kraft invited Edmond to his suite at
06:34 Gillette Stadium to watch the Patriots take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
06:42 Nice touch.
06:47 Smoothie thrower
06:48 In 2022, James Iannazzo picked up smoothies at a store in Fairfield, Connecticut.
06:55 When he got home and gave one to his son, he had an allergic reaction as the drink contains
07:00 peanuts.
07:01 Earlier, customer James Iannazzo ordered a smoothie.
07:13 Iannazzo wanted justice and returned to the store.
07:16 However, the employee stated that they weren't told about the allergy.
07:19 Regardless, Iannazzo launched into a racist tirade and threw a smoothie at a worker.
07:25 Yikes.
07:26 We are sorry on behalf of Rovex for how the smoothie was made, but it gives you absolutely
07:35 no right to act out like that.
07:37 On top of being fired by Merrill Lynch, Iannazzo was arrested.
07:41 He received an accelerated rehabilitation, which meant he got a year of probation.
07:46 Iannazzo faces multiple charges, including intimidation based on bigotry or bias.
07:51 He was told to stay away from the smoothie shop.
07:53 The victimized employees also issued a lawsuit against him, which was settled for $7,500.
07:59 In 2023, Iannazzo was sued by FINRA for potentially breaking broker rules.
08:06 Parking Lot Hater In 2022, four Indian-American women were leaving
08:11 a restaurant and going to their cars after a lovely evening in Plano, Texas.
08:16 Out of nowhere, Esmeralda Upton decided to ruin the event.
08:20 This video showing a Plano woman attacking other women outside a restaurant is something
08:24 police insist they do not take lightly.
08:28 Seemingly unprovoked, she launched into a racist rant, repeatedly stating how much she
08:33 hates Indians and throwing in slurs.
08:35 The salient just said, "Go back where you came from," and she used some harsh words,
08:40 derogatory words, and then she walked right up to us.
08:44 The first thing we did was I started recording and the other friend, she called 911.
08:49 At one point, angry that she was being recorded, Upton threatened violence against the women
08:54 and attacked them.
08:55 When the police arrived, they managed to calm things down but let Upton go.
08:59 Until the next day, anyway, when she was arrested and charged for making her threats.
09:04 Wanting more justice, two of the victims issued lawsuits against Upton for emotional and physical
09:09 distress.
09:10 Soho Karen In 2020, teenage girl, Soho Karen, was arrested
09:16 for allegedly stealing her cell phone.
09:19 In 2020, teenager, Keon Harold Jr. and his musician father, Keon Harold, were in the
09:23 lobby of the Arlo Hotel in Soho, New York.
09:26 Suddenly, Mia Ponsetto stopped over and accused the youngster of stealing her cell phone.
09:38 He hadn't, but that didn't stop Ponsetto from arguing and tackling Harold Jr. to the ground.
09:44 In reality, she left the phone in an Uber.
09:51 Ponsetto was later arrested and charged for her grim racial profiling actions.
09:56 In 2022, she pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment in the second degree as a hate crime, as part
10:03 of a plea deal.
10:13 As such, Ponsetto received two years of probation and had to continue counseling sessions.
10:35 Central Park Karen Christian Cooper was birdwatching in Central
10:39 Park, New York City in 2020 when he noticed that the unrelated Amy Cooper had a dog off
10:45 a leash, against the area's rules.
10:48 After he asked her to put it on, she snapped and an argument began.
11:00 This caused the woman to call the police, telling them through sobs that an African-American
11:04 man was threatening her.
11:06 Which he wasn't.
11:07 As evidenced by Christian filming the unhinged event.
11:25 The video was then uploaded on social media and went viral.
11:28 It led to Amy Cooper being fired from her job, having her dog temporarily confiscated,
11:33 and being arrested.
11:41 However the charges were dropped after she completed an educational program.
