00:00 Feels like my neck could use a nice crunch.
00:03 And thankfully, doctors David and Cheryl Eesler
00:06 are here to tell us about the modern technology
00:08 they do of chiropractic care.
00:10 Good morning, you two, how are you doing?
00:12 - Great, how about you? - Good.
00:13 We were talking before, and we were saying
00:16 how every chiropractor is different
00:19 in the way they approach the way to take care of people.
00:23 Let's talk about yours, 'cause yours is a very,
00:26 how can we say, new and also using some old techniques,
00:29 but really working in a different way than anybody else.
00:33 - Yeah, so our practice uses the latest method
00:35 of chiropractic called TRT.
00:37 There's no twisting, popping, or cracking.
00:40 It's a very gentle and specific adjustment,
00:43 and we use an instrument that is the only
00:46 FDA-approved instrument that corrects spinal misalignments.
00:49 We combine that adjusting along with
00:51 state-of-the-art technology to really help people
00:54 optimize their healing.
00:55 - Yeah, and I think this is great
00:56 because a lot of people are scared of the chiropractor
00:59 because of the old days of the cracking the neck
01:02 and the back and the way they would do it,
01:05 and you hear people say, "It didn't help me,"
01:08 but it actually does, and that's something
01:10 that we really need to take a look at.
01:13 When it comes to our pain, and I'm saying right now,
01:15 as I said, I'm sitting with sciatic nerve pain
01:18 that I've been having for the last couple weeks,
01:20 and everyone's like, "Go see a chiropractor,
01:22 "don't see a chiropractor, go see a chiropractor,
01:23 "don't see a chiropractor."
01:25 I'm gonna ask the doctors, "Should I be seeing
01:27 "a chiropractor?" (laughs)
01:28 - Absolutely, absolutely.
01:30 When it comes to something like sciatica,
01:32 the most common cause is a misalignment in your lower back.
01:34 Sometimes there might be a disc that might be bulging
01:37 or even herniated, and so there's not a drug out there
01:40 that's gonna make that go away.
01:42 You can't medicate yourself out of a biomechanical problem,
01:47 and so the chiropractic approach,
01:49 we correct those spinal misalignments,
01:51 and then in our practice, where Cheryl had said
01:54 that we use different technology to help,
01:56 we have deep tissue therapeutic lasers,
01:57 we have spinal decompression.
01:59 We also do postural and spinal rehabilitation
02:02 to help strengthen the underlying structures
02:04 that support your spine to give you long-term results,
02:06 not just a quick patch on it.
02:09 - So how many times should someone actually see
02:11 a chiropractor as they're going through stuff?
02:14 - That totally depends on their case.
02:16 What the problem is, the severity of it,
02:18 the chronicity, how long it's been a problem,
02:21 there are other complicating factors.
02:22 So really what you need to do is you need to partner
02:26 with your chiropractor, and we do, in our practice,
02:31 we do a very detailed consultation,
02:34 chiropractic examination, and we do x-rays.
02:37 We do what are called digital motion study x-rays,
02:40 so we can evaluate how your spine is actually working,
02:42 not just the structure when you're standing in one position.
02:44 We use all of that to determine what type of treatments
02:47 that we need to do, how often you need to get your
02:51 treatments, and for how long.
02:53 - Wow, that is great, 'cause again,
02:54 I love that you're doing that,
02:55 'cause you said something very important,
02:57 partnering together with your chiropractor,
02:59 not just your chiropractor telling you what to do,
03:00 or you telling the chiropractor, it's coming together.
03:03 Lexi just had a baby, and she has been hearing
03:06 and reading stories about babies getting actually
03:09 taken care of through the chiropractor.
03:10 Is that something that should be done?
03:12 - Absolutely, absolutely.
03:14 We see all ages, babies, we see all the time.
03:18 There's a lot of stress that's put on that little neck
03:20 as they're being born, and so sometimes when infants
03:23 have misalignments, that can result in chronic
03:25 ear infections, colic, nursing issues, all kinds of issues.
03:29 So we can very successfully treat babies.
03:31 - Yeah, facials, what about facials?
03:34 (laughing)
03:35 - So we are a family practice.
03:37 Our daughter also works for us, too,
03:39 and we have two actually licensed estheticians,
03:41 she is one of them.
03:43 So we do facials, hydrofacials, sugaring, hair removal,
03:46 all kinds of stuff.
03:47 - I love all in one spot,
03:49 and your spine taken care of and getting the facial,
03:50 which is also relaxing and helps you with that, too.
03:54 I love it.
03:54 Now you also have something else that is very important
03:57 to those who deal with, I gotta make sure I say it right.
04:02 - Neuropathy.
04:03 - Neuropathy, thank you, neuropathy.
04:05 So what is that?
04:06 - We have an amazing state-of-the-art
04:08 neuropathy treatment program that has a 95 to 97%
04:12 success rate at stopping, reducing, and even reversing
04:16 those neuropathy symptoms.
04:18 Absolutely amazing technology that we use
04:21 in addition to home care that is FDA approved,
04:23 and we literally help people be able to walk again
04:26 without a walker, cane, we improve their quality of life,
04:29 and it's magical to see how we can help people
04:33 with these issues.
04:34 - I like that, it's so important.
04:35 And I know we were talking about this,
04:36 is that there's two different kinds of tools,
04:38 you said earlier, that you kinda need to watch out for.
04:42 One that is not really approved, and that is the,
04:45 which one is it?
04:46 - There are several different instruments out there
04:48 that are not FDA approved.
04:52 There's only one that is approved, and that is with TRT,
04:56 the technique that I practice,
04:59 which stands for torque release technique.
05:01 The instrument is called the integrator,
05:03 and the doctor that invented that technique,
05:07 he also invented the instrument, got it FDA cleared,
05:10 and it is the only FDA approved instrument
05:13 for adjusting spinal misalignments, yeah.
05:15 - There it is, I like that.
05:16 I think right now people have the holiday stress on 'em,
05:19 the way they're sleeping, the way they're moving,
05:21 they need to get taken care of, so I love this.
05:23 We have information on the screen
05:25 on how you can find out more about Trinity Chiropractic,
05:28 which is really cool, and they're gonna be seeing me,
05:31 so I'll be out there.
