00:00 Hi! Come on over.
00:02 There is a sheep who's been living here for at least three weeks.
00:07 Come on down. I'm not going to get you.
00:11 We've been trying to figure out how to rescue them.
00:14 They're scared of people, they don't have their flock, so they're in a constant state of terror.
00:19 So I'll show you the plan.
00:21 Oracle often comes out here to watch.
00:23 This is his food station, so he gets food and water and the same dishes every day.
00:28 We just dropped our trailer.
00:30 You see?
00:32 The plan is to move this feeding station along the tree line so that he'll continue to feel safe.
00:38 Come on, Oracle. You've got to check up.
00:42 Hello!
00:44 I don't know where she came from or how long she traveled to get to the cemetery.
00:47 Part of why I'm so worried is we're right by this area and there are a lot of coyotes.
00:52 We're trying to help you. It's going to be okay.
00:55 A neighbor of the cemetery named Jean-Pierre fell in love with Oracle.
00:59 Then another nearby neighbor offered to help feed her twice a day.
01:04 Good girl. You're hungry today.
01:08 So Jean-Pierre was going there every day. Oracle was very wary of this for weeks and then slowly got used to it.
01:15 Yeah, it's okay.
01:17 We moved the feeding station closer and closer to the trailer.
01:21 Nice. Good girl.
01:24 A lot of farmed animals have really terrible experiences on trailers.
01:28 We didn't want to make it scary for Oracle.
01:30 But we were getting close.
01:33 There's more inside. You didn't see it.
01:36 Hey!
01:41 I got a text message this morning that I've been waiting for for weeks.
01:45 Oracle was contained on our trailer.
01:48 The plan worked. The volunteer was able to close the door this morning.
01:51 We just needed to come and get them.
01:53 They're on their way to sanctuary.
01:55 Oracle's been out in the elements for six to eight weeks.
02:01 We're going to do a full medical workup.
02:03 Welcome home.
02:05 She's definitely one of the most fearful animals we've rescued.
02:10 But she's slowly settling in and getting used to the ISO space.
02:16 Please don't jump over that.
02:18 Ashley can just kind of relax.
02:20 We're just going to leave her alone.
02:23 John Biav, the volunteer, has been visiting every couple days.
02:27 Nice!
02:33 Oracle is going to join the rest of the sheep at the sanctuary and make a ton of friends.
02:40 She's going to live there for the rest of her life, which I think will be very, very long.
