00:00 Just the thing you need when you want playtime with a petite little Pazuzu.
00:04 Here's your spooky spot on the Super Impulse World's smallest Ouija board.
00:27 The mystifying Oracle Ouija does apparently work as indicated by the
00:32 clamshell packaging. It does include as well a panchette that also reveals
00:37 hidden messages on the board. Of course, warning choking hazard not recommended
00:41 for children under three years of age. This is part of the world's smallest and
00:45 when I saw that they had a Ouija available, although I don't really like
00:48 the idea of tempting fate and bringing any more ill spirits to my doorstep.
00:53 By the way, talking to... no I'm not talking to Charlie the Ghost. Charlie the Ghost
00:57 was sort of giving me this dirty look. No, I wasn't. I was talking about other
01:00 other evil spirits. Okay, I think we're good now with Charlie the Ghost. Up at
01:06 the top though, you can see again it includes one game board and one
01:09 planchette. Nothing really listed here on the back again other than their website
01:13 at www.superimpulse.com and this again is a collaboration as well with Hasbro,
01:19 the original makers of the Ouija board. I'm gonna actually open this up and when
01:24 we come back we're gonna get a closer look at the world's smallest Ouija board.
01:28 Stay tuned. After five minutes of opening up the packaging and another four and a
01:33 half hours of a painful exorcism... ooh still stings... we finally have the world's
01:38 smallest Ouija board opened up so we can get a closer look at it. It's all been
01:43 made in plastic here. It does actually have two parts. The main top part will
01:46 then open up to reveal the board inside. There's a section for the front drawer
01:50 that will open up to reveal the planchette and there has been some
01:54 sticker applications not only on the front the sides but also on the top as
01:57 well that does have Ouija board printed. The planchette is also
02:01 pictured down below and it does have an interesting wood look to it. Looks like
02:06 it has had some wear and tear and probably multiple owners. I don't know if
02:09 I really would want to know the fates of the earlier owners. Anyways though, you
02:13 can open up the drawer and carefully remove the planchette. Against the
02:16 instructions of Charlie the Ghost not to move forward, I'm gonna take the
02:20 planchette and dump it out carefully. The only thing about it though is once you
02:23 lose the planchette, I don't think you can also close the doorway into the
02:27 other realm, but I think also as well for obvious reasons the Ouija board will
02:31 then be null and void. You wouldn't be able to use it unless you decide to use a pen
02:34 which I think they end up using though in Witch Board 2. Anyways we're gonna go
02:38 ahead and close the drawer carefully and it will open up the Ouija board. Charlie
02:44 the Ghost right now is saying no no don't do don't do it. We're opening up
02:47 the board. Did anybody just hear that? It was just the wind. Opening this up all
02:53 the way, one thing I will say though about the board is it doesn't actually
02:56 click in place. So if you're hoping for a flat board for example, if you want to
03:00 summon up spirits, you're gonna have to hold the board down. As it like
03:04 like as you can see right there, it's always gonna be more on an angle. But the
03:08 board does have both the yes, the no, and goodbye down below in the middle with all
03:13 the letters and the numbers featured to start spelling out phrases. Now we can
03:17 take the planchette if you are familiar. I hope to think you're not familiar with
03:21 the idea of using Ouija boards. But if you aren't familiar, the idea is you're
03:24 supposed to put the planchette in the middle here. Everybody's supposed to put
03:26 their hands on it and then proceed of course to move it around and have a
03:29 spirit spelling out something that they want to say. If I've learned anything
03:34 from the original Witch Board, which is one of my all-time, if not my all-time
03:37 favorite movie, ghosts never know how to properly spell things. So instead of
03:42 actually saying "her," the spirit was trying to tell us, Mouth Vader was trying to
03:45 tell us that it's "here." And of course you want to make sure you're not doing
03:48 this by any dark peer. But the actual board itself, the planchette, is made of
03:52 again plastic. It has been sticker applied. It says though it's supposed to
03:56 reveal hidden messages. With all the time that I've actually spent doing this, I
04:00 haven't yet been able to spell out anything. You can move of course the
04:04 planchette around whether you believe in the idea that the Ouija board does
04:07 actually function. It doesn't actually, at least from the time that I've spent
04:11 with it, other than just having a few little tingles on my shoulders, I haven't
04:15 noticed it's been able to spell anything though. It's an interesting little
04:19 recreation. I suppose for example if you have like, if your sister has
04:23 Barbies, or if you collect Barbies yourself, you little Barbies could start
04:26 summoning spirits. Hey that'd be a fun idea. Who is possessing Skipper
04:30 right now? But it's an interesting little, you know, again, recreation of the
04:33 original Ouija board. There is this little section here on the side. Oh I
04:37 just dropped the planchette. There's a little section here on the side that I'm
04:40 not really even sure what it does. I thought for a second it was maybe like a
04:44 hinge or something that would actually open up a hidden drawer. It does not open
04:47 a hidden drawer. So again I'm not really sure specifically what this little thing
04:51 here does on the side. It doesn't move. It doesn't seem to do anything other than
04:55 just being there. And obviously it doesn't, you can't move anything with the
04:59 planchette either. I mean it's still a rather smaller recreation of the
05:03 Ouija board. It's still interesting and fun to have. Probably not something you
05:07 will want to have out there on Halloween night though. Small or large, the very
05:11 idea of summoning spirits on Oh Hallows Eve is probably not even the best of
05:15 ideas. Of course whatever you do, whatever you do so that nothing is
05:17 claiming your soul, you always want to make sure of course that you finally
05:20 wrap your messages up with the ghost by saying goodbye. Because if you're
05:24 not, you're gonna be leaving that portal out open indefinitely. And then from
05:28 there of course you just take your little planchette and put it and slide
05:31 it back in the drawer. See? Charlie the ghost. We were okay. No harm, no foul. Still
05:36 I got that tingling on my shoulder though. Is that you Charlie ghost? Is
05:40 that you Charlie the ghost? I see Charlie the ghost has left the room. I'm all by
05:45 myself. Oh hey who are you? Today's spooky spot we were having a look at the world's
05:50 smallest Ouija board. Courtesy of the folks over at Super Impulse. Have you
