00:04 Today's spooky spot we're having a look at the custom horror neon sign from
00:07 Pump Kingdom Studio.
00:27 Pump Kingdom Studios have been making custom LED neon signs over on their Etsy
00:32 store and if you guys have been looking to get some sick signage whether it be
00:35 horror for your horror collection or we'd like just to get custom sign for
00:38 something else you can click the link down below in the video description. In
00:41 this review we will be looking with more a horror sign and this is 25 inches. The
00:46 25 inch sign actually right now is $269.67 that's Canadian prices over on
00:51 their site and they go from 25 inches all the way up to if you can believe it
00:54 60 inch signs and even if you then need a sign even bigger they also make signs
00:58 even larger than 60 inches. I went and decided to go with the gorier green but
01:03 they also make the signs in yellow, white, orange, warm white, ice blue, green, pink,
01:07 yellow and a normal blue but I thought green would fit it a lot better
01:10 especially if I'm planning to have this display with my horror movie library
01:14 which was really the idea in mind that I had when I wanted to get the sign. Along
01:18 with your purchase though you get the following things. First of all you get
01:20 yourself an AC plug. The plug actually doesn't attach necessarily directly to
01:25 the sign it actually what it does instead is it plugs to a secondary plug
01:29 where the plug that is that cord is actually attached on to the back of the
01:32 sign so you actually have to attach it in two places. You get the secondary
01:36 cord now the cord itself does have settings to the light. At the beginning
01:40 of this we actually had this set in low but there's also medium and there's also
01:43 high. Easily be pressed by just pressing the button down below so we'll have to
01:47 plug the two together. You also as well can have the option either mounting this
01:50 now I've got this currently just resting against a standee but also as well if
01:54 you guys wanted to mount this on the wall they include simple to read
01:57 instructions. All that's really required is you have to take these little
01:59 ringlets here drilled in the top and on the bottom there's actually holes. You
02:03 take these little ringlets here that are almost like binder rings and you just
02:07 loop them through the provided holes and then you take yourself some signage
02:10 chain and you basically will just connect them along the top just
02:14 basically like a triangular sign. You also as well to get with your purchase
02:17 some additional screws and we also got some wall studs as well I just don't
02:21 happen to have the studs here right now. One thing you will want to do in
02:24 preparation of mounting your sign whether you want to have it actually
02:26 just operate like we have it right now or if you did want to mount this on the
02:29 wall is on the back there is actually a translucent kind of more of a smokier
02:34 white film that you have to peel off the back of the sign. You'll know it's still
02:37 there because the sign should be see-through and you're really only then
02:40 looking at the letters themselves. So what I will do though is I'm gonna take
02:44 my plug and actually one thing I also did want to mention about the plug is
02:46 that they make the plugs available for anywhere across the world. The plug that
02:50 I'm using here is for North America but they also make plugs as well for
02:53 European countries as well so like anywhere in the world they have a plug
02:56 accommodating this sign for you. So what I will do though is I'm gonna plug this
03:00 in I'll show you guys the three different settings and the settings
03:03 actually do get quite bright on the lettering and also as well I'm gonna cut
03:06 the light so you can see how well it looks in the dark. Now that I actually
03:09 have it plugged in we're gonna go through the three different settings and
03:12 one actually correction I did want to make to what I said earlier the sign was
03:15 at the time right now shooting this review 269.67 it's only because it's a
03:20 35% off sale at the time of shooting this review. The sign normally I think
03:24 is sitting around 415 again if you guys are looking to get this LED sign for
03:28 yourself. So cycling through the three different settings first we actually had
03:31 this in low so I'm just gonna press the low right now again you can see how
03:35 bright that illuminates a really well made sign all in all. Now again if you
03:40 didn't want necessarily horror and you wanted to have a different sign made
03:42 it's easy for them that they would just produce the sign and whatever specs that
03:46 you want and also as well you can vary the size and you can also vary the color
03:49 as well but I think the green works really well I'm hoping that the camera
03:52 is able to show how good that actually looks. Now that's only just in the low
03:55 setting if I was to say press this again you can even see how much brighter it
03:59 gets still try to revert your retinas from getting burned away that's a that's
04:04 a pretty considerably bright light and not only obviously does it illuminate
04:07 the font but it also illuminates really brightly the green all around it as
04:11 well and that's only again on the second setting again everyone's get their
04:16 glasses on if we're gonna switch this then to the third setting whoo that's
04:20 quite a bright light now in close quarters like this you may not want to
04:23 have a neon sign so close to your eyes my whole plan of course in mind is to
04:26 have this downstairs in my basement along with all my other movies and again
04:30 you really don't even need necessarily to have other light sources in your room
04:33 the light source that you're getting here from the from the sign is more than
04:37 enough illuminating not only again the font but also again everything that's
04:41 around it as well so that being said let's now cut the lights and we'll again
04:45 jump through the three different settings so again you can see how good
04:48 it actually looks in the dark well yes right now you're not looking at anything
04:52 you will be looking at something in a few seconds because I'm gonna go and
04:55 press the button again one thing I do really like about it is that the
04:58 settings start on low so you're not gonna be blinding yourself right away
05:01 with an overly bright bulb but we're gonna start things first obviously in
05:04 the lowest setting there's the lowest setting right there now obviously also
05:08 to with taking that film off can you even see my hands even taking the film
05:12 off - the only thing you're really then seeing is just the letters alone and
05:15 that's only again the lowest setting going back and looking at the footage I
05:19 just shot I realized on the middle setting that my camera starting to
05:23 pulsate how fitting it would be also be looking at a horror sign and having the
05:27 camera sort of pulsating in the process now that's the second setting we'll
05:32 switch it over to the highest setting very very bright again I probably would
05:37 not normally have myself so close to a light like this but it's also as well
05:40 just to show you how bright that actually does project now this is 25
05:44 inch sign again they can go all the way up to 60 if you prefer 60 obviously for
05:49 me is just way too big I think 25 honestly is just the right size the
05:53 ideal size if you want to have a sign so like if you want to have a sign for
05:56 example my plan is again to have this so you know right next to my movie
05:59 collection and I'm just gonna hang this up on the wall at least they did provide
06:03 the hook so again if you wanted to mount this yourself it's very easy to do or
06:07 you can also go the route of what I did in this review and just have this
06:10 mounting against like a standee like like what we have right now I am quite
06:15 happy with how the horror sign turned out and looking forward to mounting this
06:17 on my wall now again this is the 25 inch sign a correction from what I did say
06:22 earlier of being 269 67 I think it just at the time of shooting this review they
06:25 had a sale currently going on I think the sale is only gonna be lasting for
06:29 another 21 hours and then the price is gonna go back to around 415 I think
06:33 415 for the fact that you're getting yourself a custom neon LED sign
06:37 especially you can get one catered to your specific needs if you want to say
06:40 horror like I got but in a different color they can certainly do that if you
06:43 like to get yourself a horror sign for your collection just a lot larger they
06:47 can also do that as well definitely check out some of the stuff that they
