A motorist in floodwater collided with a man who ended up on the bonnet - then knocked a woman over.
The video, filmed during Storm Babet, shows a motorist driving down Nottingham Road in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
As the motorist approaches the flooded area, a man attempts to block the vehicle without success.
The man, who has not been named, ends up on the car's bonnet as the motorist continues to drives before hitting a woman - knocking her over into the water.
An eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "[There was] a lot of screaming and 'Oh My Gods'."
"I went outside as the floods were pretty bad and was on the scene for about 5 minutes before the incident happened.
"The Volvo driver pulled up to the barriers where the road was closed - unsure who closed it."
The man on the bonnet was said to be a local resident trying to stop vehicles from making waves that would increase the water levels in his flooded home.
Both the man and the woman didn't appear seriously injured, according to the eyewitness.
They added: "Unsure if there were any injuries. The woman got up very wet and was walking around.
"When I got back to the scene after leaving about 30 minutes later she was walking around the road with a dressing gown on in dry clothes."
Despite passersby shouting to call the emergency services, the filmer said they saw neither an ambulance nor a police car turn up.
The footage was captured on October 21.
