00:04 Hello, I'm Bonnie Tyler, and I'm obsessed with eclipses.
00:08 I even sang a song about them.
00:10 But it turns out that most people
00:13 have no idea how they occur.
00:16 Every now and then, there's a lunar eclipse.
00:19 But how do they happen?
00:21 Let's imagine this Jaffa Cake is the moon.
00:26 There are three types of eclipse.
00:28 You've got the lunar eclipse, the solar eclipse,
00:33 and then there's the total eclipse of the heart.
00:36 When the Earth is situated between the moon and the sun,
00:39 it creates a shadow.
00:41 And when it looks like someone has just
00:43 taken a bite out of the moon, that's
00:46 a partial lunar eclipse.
00:48 Now let's recap.
00:51 Full moon.
00:52 Half moon.
00:58 [ELECTRONIC BEEPING]
01:00 Total eclipse.
