00:03 Buffalo Bills, they've been one of those teams.
00:05 They just blew the doors off the Miami Dolphins.
00:07 We're like, all right, Bills are back.
00:08 Now we know who they're gonna be.
00:11 I mean, they barely beat the Giants.
00:12 They lose to the Patriots.
00:15 Oddsmakers are basically telling us that's not the team that we've seen.
00:19 They're eight and a half point favorites tomorrow night
00:21 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
00:23 And Jacob, the total in this one on the FanDuel Sportsbook is 42 and a half.
00:28 The Buccaneers last week, Jacob, how many times did they try and
00:31 hand the game to the Falcons?
00:33 Once, twice, three times, four, five?
00:36 I mean, they gifted that game to Atlanta.
00:40 And Atlanta was like, no, we don't want it.
00:42 [LAUGH] We don't want it.
00:43 We're gonna give you another shot, and another shot, and
00:45 another shot at the end of the game.
00:46 So, I mean, I personally don't think the Buccaneers are very good, but
00:49 this is a lot of points for a team that's having trouble.
00:51 >> I agree with you.
00:53 I think the Buccaneers aren't as good as their record says they are.
00:56 They're probably overrated because they played some weaker competition earlier in
01:00 the season and kind of beat up on them.
01:02 But the Buccaneers do have some positive aspects to them.
01:05 They have two really good receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
01:08 And the key with the Buccaneers is,
01:10 if Baker Mayfield isn't going to be under pressure, you usually wanna back him.
01:15 So I don't like that in this matchup though,
01:17 because the Bills actually get decent pressure on quarterbacks.
01:20 They have Von Miller back.
01:21 Miller hasn't been playing a full couple minutes snaps, but
01:24 Greg Russo has been good this year, and so Mayfield should be under pressure.
01:29 The issue that I have right now though is Buffalo's defense outside of that line
01:33 is very banged up.
01:35 They've lost two of arguably their best defensive players in Tredavious White and
01:38 Matt Milano, so the back seven is reeling.
01:41 Milano's loss in London was truly deflating for
01:44 them because he's a key leader on their defense.
01:46 He marries the front end to the back end.
01:48 He's a solid tackler.
01:50 He's excellent in coverage.
01:51 So his absence and their lack of true replacement for
01:54 him is gonna have a real impact on their ability to win games big.
01:58 So while I think the Buccaneers will lose this game, I think because of the short
02:03 week, because the Bills are so banged up, and Josh Allen's dealing with a little
02:06 shoulder injury, I think the Buccaneers are actually weirdly the right side to
02:10 back here at plus eight and a half.
02:12 Because I think at the very least, they're gonna set themselves up for
02:15 a backdoor cover because they have that good passing game.
02:18 The Bills have a leaky defense.
02:20 And if the Bills are up big late, they might take their foot a little bit off
02:23 the gas just to be sure they don't suffer any more injuries because they can ill
02:27 afford that.
