00:04 Asylum seekers are to be moved out of their temporary accommodation at a hotel in Morecambe.
00:10 The Strathmore Hotel had been being used as temporary housing for asylum seekers, but
00:15 this will now cease by the end of January 2024.
00:19 The Home Office has confirmed it is terminating its contract and all the asylum seekers will
00:24 be given a minimum of five days notice before being moved.
00:29 A body has been found by police searching for a missing woman in Blackpool.
00:33 Police have been searching for Yvonne Cheston since the 67-year-old was reported missing
00:38 last Friday.
00:39 Sadly, her family has now confirmed that Yvonne was found in the early hours of today, less
00:44 than a mile from when she was last seen.
00:47 Police said Yvonne's death is not being treated as suspicious.
00:52 A popular mural in Preston will remain in place after Town Hall officials decided that
00:57 it didn't harm the listed building on which it had been painted without planning permission.
01:02 The mother artwork appeared on the side of Hogarth Gin Bar in Church Street in July.
01:07 However, due to an oversight by the property owners, the mural didn't have the green light
01:12 from the City Council.
01:14 A retrospective planning application has now been approved for the painting.

01:51 He's also charged with producing 60 plants at an address in Preston as well as dishonestly
01:56 using electricity.
01:58 He will appear at Preston Crown Court next month.
