Chester House Estate celebrates its second anniversary with the unveiling of its Halloween programme

00:12 Today we're here not just to celebrate the unveiling of our 2023 Halloween program,

00:20 but also to celebrate a very special birthday.

00:25 Two years ago, on the 23rd of October 2021, the Chester House estate opened its doors to the public

00:34 after a very long and difficult journey. We are extremely proud to be the home and trustees

00:41 of 10,000 years of history that's still buried beneath our feet.

00:46 And we're committed to caring for, preserving and keeping this significant historical landscape

00:53 accessible for everyone. It seems like only yesterday when we first opened and started

01:00 with our very own first Halloween offering. We've certainly improved year on year and this one

01:07 is bigger, better and spookier than ever.
