00:20 Sir, of course, what can you say about our Philippine Pavilion here at Mega Show?

00:27 Of course, we're very happy that our Filipino exporters came.

00:32 And we always hope that in the next coming years, of course, that there'll be more Philippine exporters.

00:38 And it's always good that they're able to show the Hong Kong citizenship, citizenry, and basically, our importers.

00:48 That the Philippine business is still alive and that Filipino artistry is present.

00:54 So it's always good that we have representation from the Philippines.

00:57 How do you feel, sir, that the Philippines is very much open for products such as these?

01:05 We're always glad. We're really glad because, just to inform you, like here in Hong Kong,

01:09 actually, Hong Kong is our fourth largest export market.

01:16 So sometimes on a given month, actually, Hong Kong is our number one export market.

01:23 So we always want that there'll be more products from the Philippines that will be brought into Hong Kong.

01:29 And of course, because Hong Kong is a platform going into mainland China also.

01:33 How important are these products, these services, and of course, our showcase of these products in these trade shows?

01:42 Of course, like what you said, the government would like more employment to come in the Philippines.

01:48 And because at the end of the day, if there's products being bought from the Philippines,

01:53 it will really return to employment also of Filipinos and more business and more investments into the Philippines.

02:00 So it's always good. First, representation. Second, employment. Third, of course, the money coming in the Philippines.

02:08 These are very important.

02:09 Well, first and foremost, I would like to inform our Filipino exporters that we have an office here,

02:16 the Philippine Trade and Investment Center.

02:18 Basically, it's the name of the office of the Department of Trade and Industry outside the Philippines.

02:23 So we are always here to help them, assist them in looking for partners, importers in our jurisdiction.

02:32 So my jurisdiction is Hong Kong and Macau.

02:34 So we, of course, we would like them to inform us so that we'll be able to properly assist them.

02:40 A lot of our exporters and Filipino citizens are actually not that familiar of our office.

02:45 So for them to know more about our office, it will be very helpful for them to expand their business.

02:52 And because the quality of products that the Filipino makes are actually quite competitive,

02:58 so they should also look into selling it outside the Philippines also.

03:03 So hopefully, there'll be more Filipinos who would be joining trade fairs.

03:08 And actually, just this year, next week, we have another trade fair, which is the Wine and Spirit Fair,

03:15 wherein there will be Filipino participation.

03:19 So we're here to support any type of product, services that the Filipinos want to bring in Hong Kong and Macau.
