Victoria firefighters call for action over ageing truck fleet

Hundreds of firefighters have gathered on the steps of Victoria’s Parliament calling for upgrades to fire trucks ahead of bushfire season. It has been revealed more than 50 trucks in Melbourne are more than 15 years old. The state's country fire authority says its trucks also need to be updated and aren't fit for purpose.
