00:00 Okay, you got your instructions in the dressing room.
00:02 I want you to protect yourself at all times.
00:04 At all times, I want you to obey my command.
00:06 Touch gloves, back to your corners.
00:09 - Both fighters still coming off of losses
00:12 here into Rosenberg.
00:14 Humberto Galindo was set to fight
00:16 Robson Conceicao September 15th.
00:19 And then on fight week,
00:21 Conceicao got the Navarrete fight.
00:23 He said, "Sorry, buddy, I'm gonna go fight for a belt."
00:27 And Galindo made a little bit of money
00:30 for not fighting despite that,
00:32 and said, "I'm gonna get you another date."
00:34 And here he is just a few weeks later
00:36 fighting against Oscar Bravo,
00:38 the two-time Chilean junior lightweight champion.
00:40 They call him "La Máquina," the machine,
00:42 because he just comes forward,
00:43 and you see him landing a three-punch combination
00:46 on Humberto Galindo.
00:47 - Oh, my goodness. These guys are already going at it.
00:50 Now it's rock 'em, sock 'em robot right here,
00:51 the first round.
00:54 You know, both guys are bringing the intensity.
00:56 - Both are bringing the intensity right away.
00:58 Galindo, although he is the taller opponent,
01:00 probably has the reach advantage.
01:02 He likes to fight. He likes to brawl.
01:04 He likes to stand mid-range. He likes to exchange.
01:06 He does most of his damage from the inside,
01:08 from in the inside. Wow.
01:10 Good body puncher as well.
01:12 - You know where he picked that up from, Tim?
01:14 - Where?
01:15 - Because Raymond Murataya destroyed Galindo to the body
01:18 in his last loss, and so he told me,
01:21 "After that fight, I learned
01:22 not only do I have to strengthen my abs,
01:24 I've never done ab work."
01:26 - He did that, but he also said, "It hurts so much
01:28 that I want to now dig to the body
01:30 more than I ever did before."
01:31 - That's exactly-- - And you're seeing that.
01:33 - That's exactly how I started going to the body.
01:35 Literally, it was in the amateurs.
01:36 I was fought against Anthony Thompson.
01:40 The first two rounds of our match,
01:43 he just goes down to my body.
01:44 By the third round, I was gassed out,
01:46 and he took it to me, and he ended up beating me.
01:48 And I said, "You know, from then on,
01:50 I'm going down to the body.
01:51 I'm gonna commit to the body with conviction
01:53 every single fight."
01:55 - The messenger Thompson? Anthony, the messenger Thompson?
01:57 - Yep, absolutely. - He sent you a message.
01:59 - Power to the body. - Yep, sure did.
02:01 It's called learning.
02:05 It's called experience.
02:06 - It's not until somebody does it to you
02:11 that you remember that it's such an effective
02:13 part of the game.
02:14 - But you remember when he rocked
02:15 Morataya, too? - Yes.
02:18 - Yeah, he rocked him with a right hand.
02:20 Morataya likes to languish along the ropes.
02:24 - Good attack right here.
02:25 Looks like Bravo right now is having a hard time
02:28 even getting his arsenal off.
02:30 - Yeah, and Galindo also told me,
02:32 "Look, against Morataya, I tried to be too cute.
02:34 I tried to be too smart and wait for my opportunities.
02:38 I just need to go out there and set the pace
02:39 and be aggressive."
02:41 He's doing that here in the first round
02:42 against La Máquina Bravo.
02:44 - Bravo right now is weathering the storm.
02:47 Let's see if he can make a comeback
02:49 at least in the last 38 seconds of this round.
02:54 Ooh, nice left hook from Galindo.
02:56 - And Galindo can't go in there
02:58 swinging like that with Morataya.
03:00 Morataya has dynamite in both hands.
03:01 He go in there swinging wild like that
03:03 and get clipped by Morataya.
03:05 The fight wouldn't have lasted that long.
03:07 - Went nine rounds with Morataya
03:11 before the lightweight, undefeated prospect
03:15 improved to 16-0.
03:16 - Yeah, Bravo right now is on reserve.
03:19 He's just trying to weather the storm.
03:21 He's saying to himself, "Man, I didn't know
03:23 the guy was gonna come out this fast.
03:24 Like, let me take my time and warm up."
03:27 Galindo's not giving up those opportunities.
03:31 - Yeah, he said, "I thought the first round
03:32 was to feel each other out."
03:34 [laughing]
03:35 - "Feel this?"
03:36 - Yeah, exactly.
03:37 - Hey, you hurt him down to the body,
03:41 so just keep doing that.
03:43 Stay calm.
03:45 Hey, when he gets close to you, just lean on him.
03:50 That's all you gotta do.
03:52 Don't get too wild.
03:54 You're more talented and you already hurt him.
03:56 Give me the bucket, please, the empty bucket.
03:59 Come on, give me that bucket.
04:04 Lift it.
04:05 A little more water.
04:11 Stay down there, you can't come up.
04:20 Just stay calm.
04:21 Don't get over-actioned.
04:25 - Do you remember, Tim, that tattoo of the devil
04:31 on the right side of the abdomen
04:33 that you were saying that's the target
04:34 that Muratay is going for?
04:36 - Oh, absolutely.
04:36 - He's knocking the devil out of him.
04:37 - Oh, absolutely.
04:38 And, you know, I don't know how Galindo's
04:42 strengthening his abs or his ability
04:45 to be able to take a shot.
04:46 The only way you can do that,
04:47 and the only way I know that you can do that,
04:49 is not by doing sit-ups.
04:50 - What is it?
04:51 - You gotta beat on that abs, on those abs.
04:53 You gotta get your intestines, your guts,
04:55 you gotta get your liver, you gotta get all that ready.
04:58 So you gotta beat on it with the medicine ball.
05:00 That's the only way you're able to adjust yourself
05:03 to be able to take a body shot.
05:05 Not with just ab work.
05:07 - Don't hit on the break, okay?
05:09 And look, listen to me.
05:11 Don't hold it.
05:12 - There you see, Bravo trying to keep that right elbow
05:20 tucked down to the body because Galindo's
05:22 doing damage downstairs.
05:24 Nice counter left from Bravo.
05:26 - Look it, I like what Bravo's doing.
05:30 He's waiting on Galindo to finish,
05:32 and he's punching in between.
05:33 As soon as he stops, he'll punch.
05:34 Boom.
05:35 And he's catching him with the left hook
05:36 because what Galindo's doing, he's dropping that right hand
05:40 after he finishes punching.
05:42 - Second warning from referee James Green
05:44 from Humberto Galindo for punching low.
05:47 - See, but Bravo, what he needs to do is
05:49 he needs to get him used to that left hook,
05:50 get him used to that left hook.
05:51 He's gonna start raising that arm
05:52 and then go downstairs.
05:55 Trick him.
05:56 Let's see if he does it.
05:57 Because we know Galindo is weak to the body.
06:02 Especially on that right side where the liver is.
06:06 Nice head control right there from Galindo.
06:16 Just to be able to get outside,
06:17 control your man with his head.
06:19 - The corner of Bravo, they're telling him,
06:25 "Now it's your time."
06:27 And he's gassed out, so go get him.
06:29 Let's see what the machine can do here
06:33 over the last minute against Humberto Galindo.
06:37 - See, you wonder why Galindo's getting hit
06:39 right after he gets done punching.
06:40 Because his head stays right there in the middle.
06:43 You know, what's that call when you do,
06:46 is it ding dong ditch?
06:47 - Ding dong ditch.
06:49 - Ding dong ditch.
06:50 - Yes.
06:51 - Yeah, that's exactly.
06:51 - Oh, that's a nice short left from Bravo.
06:53 - So he not doing ding dong ditch,
06:55 he doing ding dong stay right there.
06:57 So he ringing the doorbell and he's standing right there
06:59 like, "Hi, how you doing?"
07:01 - He's the one that gets caught.
07:02 - Yeah, every time.
07:03 That's exactly what he's doing right now.
07:05 My goodness.
07:08 It's like you gotta get your head up off the middle.
07:10 It's like, you know, when you try to scare somebody,
07:11 you knock on the window and you duck down.
07:13 No, he's scaring somebody, you knock on the window
07:14 and he's standing right there like,
07:16 "Oh, I'm looking at him."
07:17 (laughing)
07:19 - He keeping his head right there
07:20 after he get done working.
07:22 See, look at his head, doesn't move.
07:23 Even when he throws a left hook, his head never moves.
07:26 - Let him go, let him go, let him go.
07:29 - See, and that's why Bravo now,
07:30 he's starting to gain momentum now
07:33 because he's starting to land.
07:34 (bell dinging)
07:37 - We mentioned the body shots that Humberto Galindo
07:41 was able to land from early on in this fight,
07:44 even though he got a warning.
07:45 - Yeah, we're gonna see if those body shots
07:47 pay good dividends later in this fight,
07:48 but as of right now, I mean,
07:49 he's landed some significant body shots,
07:51 putting some good work downstairs,
07:53 particularly on that left side.
07:54 That's all you're seeing right there.
07:56 He's going for that liver
07:57 because he was reminded, like you said,
07:59 the Moritaya fight reminded him to go down to that body.
08:02 Basically, he has the mindset now to attack that body
08:05 because he knows that he's probably
08:06 still feel that pain today.
08:08 - Now let's look at the left hand from Oscar Bravo,
08:10 who had a very good second round.
08:12 - Look at the left hand right here.
08:15 Look at the head right there.
08:16 Right there, you see the legs right there.
08:19 That right leg buckled from Galindo,
08:21 got clipped right on the temple.
08:22 Look at all he did was just dip down, boom.
08:25 Oh, you gonna keep your head right there?
08:26 No problem.
08:27 We'll take that.
08:28 And you know that affected him
08:30 because you see, you saw his back leg kind of buckle.
08:32 And that effect was from a temple shot.
08:34 - Go back, go back to your corner, go back.
08:38 - He knows how to take a shot.
08:39 He was stopped on his feet by Raymond Moritaya,
08:42 but Oscar Bravo almost put him down
08:45 with that short left hook.
08:46 Round three of a scheduled eight round fight
08:48 and the momentum has shifted now in favor of La Machina.
08:52 They call him the machine out in Chile
08:54 because he always comes forward.
08:56 And that wasn't the case in the first round, Tim,
08:58 but it was in the second.
09:00 - See, but Bravo, see, what Bravo was doing was,
09:03 he was just biting his time.
09:04 He was weathering the storm, I told you.
09:06 Weathering the storm.
09:07 Let's see if he can start mounting an attack.
09:08 And guess what, he's starting to mount his own attack now
09:10 because Galindo has expanded a ton of energy
09:15 in the first round.
09:16 I mean, he's fighting at a high pace.
09:17 Ref just stepped in the way, he got clipped with two shots.
09:20 - Yeah, he's gonna take a point away for a low blow.
09:22 - It didn't seem egregious.
09:25 - No, it didn't at all.
09:26 But he stepped in the way.
09:28 In the action when punches were being thrown.
09:29 - And you know what could happen then.
09:31 - He can get clipped.
09:32 - Yes.
09:32 - So overhand right.
09:39 - See, this is just energy management right here.
09:42 Energy management.
09:46 Bravo was just taking his time, biting his time,
09:49 letting Galindo work, letting him get comfortable.
09:53 And now he's coming on now
09:55 when Galindo needs a little bit of break
09:57 from throwing all those punches
09:58 he threw in the first couple of rounds.
10:00 - Galindo having a hold now
10:05 when it was Bravo doing the holding.
10:08 - That's another warning now from Bravo.
10:10 And I'm sure the point deduction
10:11 will be coming in the next round.
10:13 He's not gonna stop holding.
10:16 Counter right from Bravo
10:26 as Galindo was setting up to go downstairs.
10:28 But you're absolutely right, Tim,
10:30 about his head being so stationary
10:33 and Galindo just being there as a target
10:35 for Bravo's counters.
10:37 - Yep.
10:38 It's fundamentals.
10:41 That's all it is, fundamentals.
10:42 How you throw the jab correctly.
10:44 Do you throw it correctly?
10:45 How you feel your feet move when you do the jab?
10:47 Are you shooting from the right distance,
10:49 your right hand?
10:50 Are you bringing it back to your chin?
10:51 These are all fundamentals of boxing,
10:52 the basic fundamentals of boxing.
10:54 - Double uppercut and Galindo looks over
11:01 to the referee about the holding from Bravo.
11:04 Trying to sell a hold and a point deduction,
11:08 but first low blow for Bravo.
11:11 Nice counter left from Bravo.
11:17 Once again, it's there for the taking.
11:20 - You see Galindo now trying to make an adjustment.
11:22 He's just not rushing in now.
11:23 Now he's trying to be the counter puncher.
11:24 Although he's still walking forward,
11:26 keeping his chin up on the pedal stool,
11:28 he's trying to make an adjustment.
11:31 Ooh, nice counter left once again from Bravo.
11:34 Couple of really solid rounds from the fighter
11:36 out of Santiago de Chile.
11:38 - Beautiful work.
11:39 I mean, he's just a nice dip and up.
11:41 Dip, throw low, punch high.
11:44 - It's been almost a year since we last saw
11:46 Duke Reagan in the ring as an injury
11:47 forced him to the sidelines,
11:49 but now he's healed from his left elbow
11:51 and ready to make a statement in his return.
11:53 - I've been out of the ring for the past year
11:57 because I had an injury with my left elbow
12:00 and I was at home back in Cincinnati
12:02 doing physical therapy for a few months.
12:05 When I was getting ready for my fight earlier this year,
12:08 I was in training camp where I couldn't like
12:10 extend my jab all the way out
12:11 or I couldn't really block punches.
12:13 So I decided to go to the doctor to get it checked out
12:17 and I had a lot of tenderitis around my left elbow.
12:21 So I had to take some time off and do physical therapy.
12:24 I just know that I was ready.
12:26 I was eager to get back in the ring,
12:28 seeing all the upcoming prospects,
12:30 fighting back to back to back.
12:32 It was just making me more hungry
12:33 to get my physical therapy done.
12:36 My elbow right now, it feels great.
12:38 I can throw it out, I can jab, I can block,
12:40 I can do whatever I want to with it.
12:41 - Nothing better than feeling healthy
12:47 if you're a fighter, Tim,
12:49 and we're gonna have that case not only for Duke Reagan,
12:51 but also for Keyshawn Davis,
12:53 who finally has found a way to manage
12:56 the digestive issues that were bothering him so much.
13:01 - That's important.
13:02 That affects you mentally.
13:03 Not only does it affect you physically,
13:05 it affects you mentally going into the fights
13:07 'cause you know you're not 100%,
13:08 but although you still gotta find a way
13:10 to take care of business,
13:12 but the fact that Keyshawn Davis is 100%,
13:17 I'm curious to see how he's gonna look tonight.
13:19 I mean, he looks sensational without being 100%.
13:22 Now imagine him being 110% now and going into this fight,
13:26 the biggest fight of his career thus far.
13:29 - Yeah, and I hear Albright coming off of a streak
13:31 of upset wins, and so Keyshawn Davis
13:35 is gonna have to be on his best game,
13:37 and we see here referee James Dream
13:40 with another warning for holding for Oscar Bravo.
13:43 He already deducted a point for low blows for Galindo,
13:45 making that probably a 10-8 round.
13:47 Nice body work from Galindo once again.
13:52 - And he finally got his head to the opposite side.
13:54 Now he's starting to weave the left foot.
13:56 Galindo making some minor adjustments.
13:58 He's got a lot of left foot movement.
14:00 He's got a lot of left foot movement.
14:01 He's got a lot of left foot movement.
14:03 He's got a lot of left foot movement.
14:04 - Yeah, and I think he's probably
14:05 been told by his coaches,
14:07 probably told him, "Hey, man,
14:08 you need to get under that left hook
14:10 because that's what he's trying to set you up for."
14:12 - Being trained by Ismael Rodriguez
14:14 since he was five years old out in Tijuana, Mexico.
14:17 Was born in West Covina, but he still lives in Tijuana,
14:20 so Galindo is listening to his coach.
14:25 - Galindo, he has more to work with.
14:28 He's got more to work with in front of him.
14:30 So you give him more opportunities
14:32 when you stand directly in front of him.
14:35 See, Galindo would do a lot better
14:36 if he kept the fight on the outside,
14:39 use subtle movements, feints, left and move,
14:41 left and right, and catch Bravo
14:43 trying to get to the inside.
14:47 - Better head movement there from Humberto Galindo
14:49 as you were alluding to.
14:50 - Yeah, but he needs to get on his jab.
14:52 - Yeah. - You know, you gotta give him
14:53 something to look at.
14:55 You just can't let him run-- walk through the front door.
14:57 - Yeah. - Jabbing right uppercut
14:59 from Galindo, and then he's held immediately by Bravo.
15:03 - See, Bravo, this is where Bravo excels, in the inside.
15:06 This is exactly where he wants to be, in the inside.
15:11 And Galindo is just giving him the opportunity
15:13 to be able to land short shots like that,
15:15 just being in the wrong range.
15:17 [crowd shouting]
15:20 See, if you're gonna stand there, you're gonna need to work.
15:25 Tie up, you need to do something.
15:27 Just don't stand there and take those shots.
15:29 - Let him go.
15:32 - The guy who's working on the inside
15:34 is the man you say is better at it.
15:35 - Yes. - Bravo.
15:36 - Yes, exactly.
15:39 - There's that short left hook from Bravo.
15:42 There comes a point deduction, as I mentioned.
15:44 It was a point deduction for low blows
15:46 for Galindo in round three,
15:48 and a point deduction now in round four
15:51 for holding on Oscar Bravo.
15:54 Both were unnecessary, to be honest.
15:58 - [speaking Spanish]
16:01 - Don't hold him. Come on.
16:04 - [speaking Spanish]
16:05 - You gotta throw punches.
16:06 You gotta go downstairs, says Carlos De Leon.
16:09 - [speaking Spanish]
16:12 - What round is it? It's the fifth round.
16:14 We got three more.
16:16 - [speaking Spanish]
16:18 - He had a point deduction. You have a point deduction.
16:21 - [speaking Spanish]
16:22 - Come on, let's do this.
16:24 - [speaking Spanish]
16:25 - You hurt him in that round.
16:27 He doesn't hit that hard.
16:28 - Okay.
16:30 - Take a deep breath.
16:32 - [speaking Spanish]
16:34 - All right, we got several Olympians
16:36 in the house tonight on the card.
16:38 All of them are silver medalists,
16:40 including Richard Torres Jr.,
16:42 who won silver in Tokyo.
16:44 He's trained by his father, Richard Torres,
16:47 and Tim, he's a great talent,
16:50 but we don't get to see much of him
16:52 'cause he stops his opponents.
16:53 - Yeah, I don't know how great
16:55 or how good Richard Torres is,
16:57 and, you know, I see subtle things inside the ring
16:59 for the time that he does fight,
17:01 but, you know, I still want to see more.
17:04 You know, I don't know if he's getting better.
17:06 I'm not sure if he's, you know--
17:08 he's moving in the right direction
17:09 because the competition has been extremely limited, I feel.
17:13 Sooner or later, he's gonna have to step up
17:15 the competition and get tested,
17:17 so that way we can get a huge overview
17:20 of where he's at as far as his career.
17:22 - Richard has a complaint about that, too,
17:23 because he says, "Look, they say, 'Hey,
17:26 "'every guy's a step-up fight for me supposedly
17:29 "'until I knock 'em out in the second round,'
17:31 "and then all of a sudden, they were just a tomato can."
17:33 So, you know, it's like you can't have it both ways, guys.
17:36 Like, either you gotta give me credit
17:38 or as a step-up fighter,
17:40 call 'em a tomato can before I stop 'em.
17:42 - Look, right now, it's all about building.
17:44 You know, you're building confidence,
17:45 you're learning how to hone your skills,
17:47 you're fighting in different venues,
17:49 you know, learning how to deal with the media.
