00:00 I guess it gets tiring to talk about clothes,
00:02 but no cigar, but how do y'all feel
00:04 about the overall performance today?
00:06 - I would say, you know, we played well, you know,
00:09 played the hard outs, you know,
00:10 it didn't, the game didn't fall out the way we wanted to,
00:12 but at the end of the day, you know,
00:15 I'm proud to be a Razorback and I'm proud of our team.
00:17 - You know, piggybacking off this,
00:19 I feel like we fought like we never give up.
00:22 And I like that about the team.
00:24 We just got to pull through and finish.
00:29 - Landon had four shacks today or something like that.
00:31 What'd you think of his performance?
00:34 - Oh man, he balled out, you know,
00:35 he, when opportunities came, he capitalized on them.
00:38 So just, you know, he does it every day,
00:40 every week in practice.
00:41 So everything, every game translates,
00:43 I mean, every practice translates to a game.
00:45 So I'm proud of him.
00:46 - And the defense, you guys were down several guys.
00:49 What'd you think about the way y'all,
00:50 especially in the second half, y'all,
00:52 they gave the offense a chance to get y'all back in the game.
00:54 What'd you think about the defense,
00:55 especially being down so many?
00:57 - We just kept preaching energy
00:58 and kept preaching everybody make a play.
01:01 So, you know, when the guys came that were down,
01:03 when those guys came and they made an opportunity,
01:06 they capitalized on it.
01:07 - Rashawn, what'd you think about the defense?
01:10 Kind of, out of the line,
01:11 you guys could get the offense going.
01:13 - Yeah, I'd be really excited for the defense.
01:15 Like when they're out there making plays,
01:17 we can't get going all the way
01:18 and we three and out, three and out,
01:20 and they still making them go three and out.
01:22 I'd be proud of those guys, not 11-0,
01:24 as soon as they come off the field.
01:25 - When it switched, that energy switched in the offense,
01:28 you guys started getting it going in the second half.
01:30 What changed?
01:31 What specifically got you guys getting into that rhythm?
01:36 - We kind of got back to what we was doing
01:37 in the first quarter, like going faster.
01:40 Everybody just lined up and going.
01:41 I don't think too much.
01:42 When you think a lot of football,
01:43 you tend to make mistakes.
01:45 - Can you talk about what you saw from KJ on that play
01:48 where it just looked like a sack
01:49 and the Dons caught the ball?
01:51 - It looked like KJ Jefferson.
01:53 (laughing)
01:54 You know, he makes one or two of those plays every week.
01:58 Like somebody that missed a block or something,
02:00 he make them get off of them,
02:03 shrub them, dump it off.
02:05 - Your touchdown play, the play design,
02:06 can you maybe talk about what it was intended to do
02:09 and how it worked?
02:10 - That's something we do a lot.
02:11 We've been doing it for two years,
02:13 the same way around.
02:14 - Was that the one you touched a few pointers on
02:17 in the recoil?
02:18 - Yes, sir.
02:18 (laughing)
02:20 Pretty much.
02:21 - You mentioned the brutal stretch,
02:23 the arguments, the worst, the toughest schedule
02:26 the Sheriff's Office has ever had for away games.
02:30 And boy, you pretty much hit all these.
02:32 What's it been like going through the stretch
02:33 and how glad are you guys to be getting back home
02:36 and just following it?
02:38 - I would say, you know, I'm happy to be home,
02:39 you know, go back and play at our stadium,
02:41 but through the stretch, I would say,
02:43 just keep keeping our heads up,
02:45 keeping us focused mentally
02:47 and keep expecting to win every week.
02:49 - What's that?
02:50 - Yeah, like not letting the outside noise get in.
02:53 I feel like if you do that,
02:54 you can stay tight as a team
02:56 and get, I'm ready to get back
02:57 and play in front of our fans at our stadium,
02:59 you know, bringing the energy.
03:01 - Is there something else that's been,
03:03 Sam was saying that there can be things learned.
03:05 I mean, you play tough teams, tough in tough places,
03:08 but we all think that we all,
03:10 obviously, we're coaching this,
03:11 you guys want to make the team,
03:12 you can take that too.
03:14 - I would say, you know, just,
03:15 we always come to fight every game, every week,
03:18 no matter who the opponent is,
03:19 we're going to play our heart out, we're going to fight.
03:21 So just, just got to keep that up every week.
03:24 - One thing I've learned is that we just have to finish.
03:28 Like, I don't like more victories, I don't take them,
03:32 but at the end of the game, like just finish,
03:35 like execute, if we execute more and more consistent,
03:38 we'll be more consistent, we'll win a lot of games.
