00:00 not so much. I'm wearing all black because I'm on my way to my own funeral.
00:07 But it is time to skip the BS as in Dallas Cowboys. Time for undisputed. Time
00:14 for me to admit my Dallas Wow Boys got beat down last night into a second half
00:20 meltdown by Dax Strescott who took another couple of years off my life with
00:26 another deer in headlights performance last night. I bought a new Dak jersey for
00:33 this season. I wore it during last night's game like it was gonna actually
00:37 bring me some good luck maybe even him too. This is what I did with it with
00:41 about two minutes left in 49ers 42 Cowboys 10.
00:52 You waited that long? Yeah. I thought about throwing Micah's number 11 into
00:59 the trash also but I spared him but now I will not be spared by Richard Sherman
01:05 and Keyshawn Johnson. Bad morning to you two. You will not. Yeah. I will withstand the
01:12 onslaught of cowboy hatred for the next few minutes then the great Michael
01:16 Irvin will join me at 10 Eastern straight up because I will need his Hall
01:23 of Fame help. Michael I hope you have some answers I don't have at this moment
01:28 please. Oh Skip you know first of all I want to
01:32 appreciate you guys for giving me a moment to gather myself after this tough
01:36 weekend not just Dallas but Miami too and we're gonna talk about this guy
01:40 right here. This guy right here he should have his head down after giving me the
01:44 performance he had yesterday and right here Michael Parson I can't see him
01:48 smiling he's not showing any teeth and he didn't show any teeth last night in
01:53 that defense so listen we got a lot to talk about guys my job is usually to
01:58 give hope and it's hard for me to find hope right now. All right stay tuned for
02:03 that here we go back to this debate desk. Debate. Richard Sherman you first
02:09 tell me you told me so. Skip. And by the way you are decked out in your is that
02:14 49er red? This is a 49er red. I thought you were a Seahawk I thought you'd wear green. I wear them both because both of them have paid my bills and changed my life Skip. But how about those Niners Skip? You deserve it for now. My goodness I knew it Skip I told you every level of the defense
02:36 every level of the offense was better. Skip it's no question we're gonna go
02:41 immediately to the tape because the tape speaks louder than I ever could. You said
02:46 Brock Purdy you wanted to see more Key you getting to see more. Four touchdowns
02:52 he only had five on the year he got four in this game. He threw it to George
02:56 Kittle because you said you had a three-headed monster Skip at safety. Yeah. He
03:00 scored on all three. He did. He said you can get it you can get it you can get it.
03:04 He three touchdowns Skip he did everything he wanted to do. This was the
03:08 difference between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. One is a
03:12 true contender one is a pretender and they've been this way for a long time.
03:17 That's why before the game you hear the Dallas Cowboys this is so important.
03:21 Rah rah rah you hear Skip Bayless hype my team up. Key hype them up. Call them
03:26 softies. They're gonna be they're gonna be so riled up. They're gonna hear you and it doesn't matter what you hear. It doesn't matter what you say. You're
03:33 going to get hit in the mouth and that's what happened. Brock Purdy in the pocket
03:37 out of the pocket George Kittle easy touchdown. That's the first touchdown of
03:41 the game drove right down the field. Then you get this they get sexy with it. Give
03:44 it to George Kittle again. Say hey you forgot you were so worried about
03:48 Christian McCaffrey you forgot about this guy. Then guess what Bangladesh
03:54 again George Kittle. I'm just trying to tell you that no matter what you did
03:59 this was an inevitability. Skip they beat you on the ground. They beat you
04:03 through the air. They ran at your best player. Your best player wasn't at his
04:07 best. He did more talking throughout the week and less performing in this game
04:11 and then he did more talking after the game which leaves you more concerned. He
04:14 says hey they're not a better team they're just the same kind of team as us.
04:17 The same kind of player off-caliber team. What? What game are you watching? What
04:22 game are you a part of? They went right at you Jordan Mason on his touchdown.
04:25 They ran it right at him and your guy Vander Esch. Again we talk about better
04:30 players. These linebackers from San Francisco both of them would start over
04:33 Vander Esch if they were in Dallas. Well I think they'd start over anybody
04:37 anywhere. Look right here they ran at Vander Esch and 11 from heaven and look
04:41 what it ended up being. Yeah. They quit. Vander Esch played his ass off last time.
04:45 You know what? He got hurt but that's just you. No no no. Just because you tackle a lot.
04:50 He was tackling eight yards nine yards down the field. There was one time he got
04:54 tackled 11. He made a tackle 11 yards down the field. We're gonna talk about
04:57 Brock Purdy because this is Brocktober. This is Brocktober. That's what month
05:01 we're in and it just started. Brocktober? Brocktober. This elite defense that the
05:07 Dallas Cowboys were supposed to have. I don't want to hear about it anymore. I
05:10 don't want to hear about historic this historic that. It's not historic. You lost
05:14 an all-pro player in Trayvon Diggs but the rest of these guys are supposed to
05:18 be good. Your best player didn't play his best. He doesn't get to talk right now.
05:21 Vander Esch? Not existent. I'm saying Brock Purdy in the 10 games that he
05:27 started has the highest passer rating of any player in the history of the
05:31 National Football League over 10 games. That's just a true fact. Nine touchdowns.
05:36 No interceptions this game. I don't want to hear oh he's not elite. He doesn't
05:40 have elite arm talent. I don't care about what the measurables or anything. I care
05:43 about production. On the field he's the best. This defense. Dallas Cowboys were
05:48 averaging 10 points a game on defense. Stopping guys. Stopping people. Now
05:52 they're 13th because they got 42 put on them. And I'm not talking Don Julio. I'm
05:56 not talking Jackie Robinson. I'm talking about 42 points and I knew it would
06:00 happen. You know why Skip? Because the Arizona Cardinals. Let me do a little
06:05 math for you. The Arizona Cardinals they they beat you by 12. So that's 12 points.
06:09 Then the San Francisco 49ers beat the Arizona Cardinals by 19. So that's a
06:14 margin of 31 points. What they beat you by Skip? 32. Oh Skip I'm only just
06:19 getting started. I'm only just getting started because you were so worried
06:23 about Christian McCaffrey like they didn't have other all pros. Like they
06:26 didn't have George Kittle. Like they didn't have Deebo Samuel. Like Brandon
06:29 Iyuk is an issue. By the way Christian McCaffrey averaged 2.7 yards per rush.
06:34 And you got beat by 32. So oh my god maybe you were worried about the wrong
06:39 thing. I thought Trey Lance gave you all the answers. Maybe maybe Trey Lance. Maybe he will.
06:43 Maybe Trey Lance was with the Niners. Maybe he was giving you exactly what they
06:47 thought you would give. Go ahead Keysar. Pile on Keysar. I'm not gonna pile on. I'm gonna simply just try to bring some order to you and
06:56 Michael's life. Because yesterday prior to the game you know you and I we text
07:02 back and forth. We just kind of you know whatever. Now when you think about it
07:06 though Skip. Michael walks into the sports bar kickoff. Everything's great.
07:10 The whole deal. He he honored his commitment at the beginning of the game
07:14 by saying hey I'm gonna come watch the game with my guy. Yeah. I honor my
07:17 commitment at 28 to 21 to 7 and a half time to leave the game and go home.
07:23 Because I knew exactly what was gonna happen in the entire time. Not only
07:28 myself and Richard have tried our best to explain to you what could
07:34 potentially happen to your Dallas Cowboys. So much for that leading
07:40 and point differential. So much for all those things. And I heard you just
07:47 out the corner of my ear or my eyes better yet looking at you and then I
07:51 can hear you talk about Chris McCaffrey and his two point something average.
07:55 Yep. I'm not just speaking on Chris McCaffrey. Let's take the rush total as a
07:59 whole. A hundred and seventy yards on the ground. Well. Okay. That's the short
08:04 of what Arizona did to you because they went over 200 yard mark. But that's okay.
08:08 170. You know. 170 is a lot. Mm-hmm. You talk about the physicality that came to
08:16 bear from the San Francisco 49ers. You talk about Vanderish. I and Michael said
08:23 watch the game. And I wanted to break down tape. But I didn't want to pick on
08:27 any individual because he was being picked up off the ground multiple times.
08:31 He might have had ten tackles as Richard Sherman. Richard Sherman said down the
08:37 field. But at the line of scrimmage he was being picked up several times by the
08:41 by the San Francisco 49ers offense alignment. It was just unbelievable. On
08:46 the Christian McCaffrey fumble alone. The dude was on top of him pounding him into
08:52 the turf. So when you start to break things down physicality wise the San
08:58 Francisco 49ers has six tackles for loss nine quarterback hits. Let's just let's
09:03 stop there. Then three quarterback sacks. Mm-hmm. They created havoc. Mm-hmm.
09:09 Offensively they dominated you guys. Okay. They just did. They even to the point of
09:16 good coaching took a took a play out of Detroit's playbook from earlier in the
09:22 day. Kyle Shanahan probably sat in his damn office and said that's not true.
09:27 Wait a minute. Mm-hmm. This is a reverse. Okay. It worked to the top. It's the same
09:32 exact play Skip. That's telling me that he looked at something that Detroit did
09:38 and said we can run this. They already had it. Let's put this in. No that may be true. Yeah.
09:44 They may have already had it. Oh they definitely had it. But they put it in for this particular game
09:49 because your great defense, your great guy number 11, he wasn't nowhere to be found at all.
09:56 Casper. What are you calling Michael number 11 Parsons something something you give him an
10:01 11 from heaven. Eleven from heaven. My oh Micah. Eleven from heaven. Mm-hmm. The next Lawrence Taylor.
10:08 The next is Lawrence Taylor wouldn't have been on the sideline doing touchdowns.
10:11 He'd been on the field. Right. And ain't no personal attack on Michael Parsons
10:14 because Michael Parsons is probably going to wind up in a Hall of Fame one day if
10:19 he continues at the trajectory that he's in. The MVP is not out of question on the defensive side
10:23 of the ball for it. It just you know it's going to extend itself. So I don't want to go too much
10:27 and pile on the fact that what happened happened to the Dallas Cowboys Skip. As I warned you last week
10:35 you could be possibly facing something that you don't want to face and you know what that is and
10:41 we'll talk about that later on. So you could defend. But I do need you on the record. Are you now
10:46 predicting the Dallas Cowboys will miss the playoffs? Nobody. I teased it for later. Oh. But I just need
10:53 an upfront on record prediction. Do do I predict there's a possibility? Not a possibility. There's
11:00 a possibility. A reality. I can't say a reality. I need facts. I can't say that. You want facts? I got a couple more for you.
11:07 You want more facts? Because then I can here's a fact that I can promise you they ain't gonna win the damn division.
11:12 I can promise you that. You know you know what I can promise you that. I can promise you this. There ain't no Super Bowl for y'all.
11:18 But I'll let you go. I promise you that too. Ain't going no Super Bowl. I can promise you that. All right. You each still owe me a dinner. Yeah you get that.
11:25 It'd be the best dinner I ever gave you Skip and I'll laugh all the way. And I'm ready to bet you another dinner each
11:30 that the Dallas Cowboys will bounce back and will make the playoffs if you're willing to take that
11:35 bet right here right now. Don't care. Don't care. Nope. Or afraid. Afraid? No no no no Skip. It's an irrelevant
11:43 erroneous point because they're going home. They're not a relevant team in this league. Afraid. Okay. I got both of them on record.
11:49 They're both afraid to accept that bet because they're still afraid of the Dallas Cowboys. You just lost by 32. Okay. I'm gonna warn both of you.
11:56 Sean always says you gotta slow your roll. I'm gonna warn both of you. Please warn me. As you well know it's a long long season.
12:04 It's only just now getting started. It's getting short though Skip. I will give you this. The 49ers last night maxed out.
12:13 I will give you this. We crapped out. They played virtually the best game they can play. There were
12:21 little things here and there. Brock pretty missed a couple of throws. He got a couple batted down at
12:25 the line of scrimmage but overall I'm not sure they can play much better than they played last night.
12:30 How much better do you need them to play? I am sure we cannot play worse than we played last night. We cannot play worse.
12:36 The Dallas Cowboys are still a good football team. The 49ers just might be a great as in all-time
12:44 great football team and we're going to talk about this a little later because you have to give them
12:49 a shot if you look down their schedule if they can stay healthy of winning every freaking game
12:54 left on their schedule and I'm talking about all the way through the Super Bowl
12:59 because that's how good they looked last night. You don't want it. All right.
13:03 Now here's the point about last night. I knew what my quarterback was and what he wasn't. I've been
13:12 saying this for three years. I keep trying to just barely cling to him and I just barely hang on
13:18 and I go by a New Jersey and I say okay maybe maybe this time he can stay out of the way
13:23 and maybe can get off a little hot and maybe can get in some comfort zone maybe they can actually
13:27 run the football around him and take some of the heat and discomfort off him because he never looks
13:33 comfortable against San Francisco at all. This is three straight losses the last two obviously the
13:39 previous two in the playoffs. You look at his QBR it's under 50. It's a very good defense he's up
13:45 against but they have his psychological number. He is dear in headlights. I know what he is but most
13:53 of all I know what he's not and I've been saying it for year after year after year and now I'm done
13:59 done done with Dak Prescott. You have to just try to work around him and overcome him and there is
14:05 this kid named Trey Lance. I'm a big fan and there's a chance at some point we get to see some
14:10 okay Lance. So now back to the real problem of last night. Please. The reason I picked Dallas
14:19 to win the game was I thought that Dallas's pass rush was a little better than San Francisco's and
14:25 I still believe it can be a little and I thought that because San Francisco had to replace two
14:30 offensive linemen from last year I thought maybe they're slightly vulnerable especially over on
14:36 that it'd be if you face their left side of the line. I thought maybe that my old Micah 11 from
14:43 heaven wouldn't actually sort of go to heaven. It's like he was gone last time. Maybe he already
14:47 held it. Maybe he went to heaven. I don't know but my biggest fear off last night my biggest concern
14:53 was not my quarterback because that didn't shock me. My biggest concern is that Micah Parsons as
15:00 you both stated and drove home the stake through my heart. He was nowhere to be found. He had a
15:07 couple of little flashes but you realize our pressure rate thanks to him coming into this game
15:13 was 49 percent. That by far led the NFL. Last night guess what it was 15 percent. Well you're
15:20 gonna lose because my whole team is driven. It is rocket fueled by the ability to rush the passer,
15:27 terrorize the passer, finally make him see ghosts, get him flinching a little off target and my
15:33 defense takes away the football. And little Jordan Lewis who's even smaller than Christian McCaffrey
15:39 all I got was one turnover where he actually pulled it out of Christian McCaffrey's hands
15:44 as he was getting run over near the goal line. He pulled it out of his hands. Way to go. We had
15:49 one sack last night and it came on what looked to me like a broken play in which Brock Purdy was
15:55 actually running with the football. He was taken off to run with it and curse came all the way
16:00 across the formation because he was blitzing from the weak side the back side and he ran him down
16:05 for a two yard loss. Does that even qualify as a sack? Not in my book because it wasn't even he
16:10 wasn't trying to throw the football he's trying to just escape and run with the football. It was
16:15 devastating to me. It was horrifying. It was pure 1000 deep tear your guts out anguish to me
16:25 that Micah Parsons didn't remotely take the game over. No, he didn't. So so my biggest problem is
16:31 that my pass rush put no heat on a Brock Purdy who just keeps sitting back there like he's playing
16:38 soft toss catch. He just keeps lobbing little radar rainbows into the zone like like he's a
16:45 wizard. I've never seen anything like it before. Skip though. Hey, skip, skip, skip. I appreciate
16:50 all that pontificating, but I don't care. I don't care what you're talking about.
16:56 Dallas Cowboys got their faces kicked in on both sides of the football. There was 10 points. They
17:02 had one touchdown turpentine because they under they underestimated and they ran a bit of a bad
17:08 call. Bad coverage. Good play by him. One touchdown. It was lucky. We didn't have to
17:12 talk about your red zone. It wasn't. We didn't. We didn't have to talk about your red zone because
17:17 you never got to the red zone because you played against a defense that is not going to allow a
17:22 bad offense to get there. I told you for the past couple of weeks, Skip, I told you for the past
17:26 couple of weeks that this offense wasn't there and you said we didn't need to be against the
17:31 Giants. We didn't need to be against the Patriots. We didn't need to. You needed against the Niners
17:37 and guess what? It wasn't there because they weren't there all season. You're not going to
17:40 just show up against the best defense in the National Football League. We're not going to
17:44 talk about pretending, pretending, pretending. You guys are flash plays. The Dallas Cowboys are a
17:50 flash. They're a flash. Hey, we're highlights. We want to dance. We want to celebrate and you
17:55 want to you don't want to be physical. You don't want to get down and dirty. You watch George
17:58 Kittle. You watch George Kittle against 11 from heaven. That man is in a bar fight every single
18:03 time and they don't mind leaving George Kittle on 11 one on one on on run plays running to him.
18:09 There aren't many tight ends in National Football League. Maybe a little bit that you
18:12 don't even know. Okay, okay. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. My bad, my bad. So you just
18:18 you mentioned the defense and the pressure rate and all that sort of stuff and everything about
18:23 the quarterback and I tried to warn you and Michael. You played against the damn Giants
18:30 and Daniel Jones. You saw Daniel Jones. You saw you know what that looked like. Seattle 11 facts.
18:35 Okay, you saw that they played against Zach Wilson, who's by the way, has played better
18:41 in the last game. Good for better. But when y'all played against him, his eyeballs was this big.
18:45 And if you saw Brees Hall yesterday against the Denver Broncos, they didn't use it for whatever
18:50 reason because they get to Dallas Cowboys, whatever you want to call it. They couldn't,
18:54 whatever. Then you go to Arizona and you let a backup to a backup to a backup of the back of the
19:00 backup, run you down and just get rid of your knowledge. And then you ran into a dude that's
19:06 been benched twice in the last two weeks at Mac Jones. You ran into offenses, man, that were not
19:13 good. And I tried to tell you that you screamed at me. You pound the desk. You told me I'm foolish.
19:19 You and Michael, I'm just a hater, all of those sort of things. You are. I'm not. I don't care.
19:24 I don't have a dog in the fight. Yeah, I do. I'm trying to get your brain to be stimulated at a
19:32 certain level. Get out of this delusional state that you're in about the Dallas Cowboys winning
19:39 a Super Bowl and slow it down. Okay, now you say they're going to make the playoff. They may make
19:45 the playoffs. I'm not saying that they not, they may make it, but you do realize they got the
19:51 chargers who's coming off a buy. We'll be well rested with a big old tall drink of water and
19:58 quarterback six, six, probably two 30 with a rifle. Who's our office coordinator? Kelly Moore.
20:03 So he knows Dan Quinn. He knows that defense he's practiced against it. He's game plan
20:09 in skin scrimmages in the summer camps against it. So that's it. But then you get a buy. So you
20:16 get to get everybody healthy or whatever. Then you got the Rams at home. The Rams is they're not
20:22 look, they sleepwalking and you know how they play. The Cowboys really tough. You don't have
20:28 any answers for 99. Then you get against Jalen hurts in those Philadelphia Eagles. Oh Lord have
20:34 mercy. So when you start to look at that, you have to admit skip when the Cowboys was being
20:42 taken to the woodshed last night, you started to think this may be exactly what Keishon Johnson
20:50 was saying. We may wind up possibly missing the playoffs or falling into the last seat.
20:58 Okay. You have to admit that. Okay. I got a dinner bet on the table right now. Miss the playoffs.
21:02 Will either of you accept that? Hey dinner, dinner, dinner bet. They won't make the Superbowl.
21:09 Okay. Well, I'm actually going out on the limb to say they're going to make that's not out on a limb.
21:16 They should make the playoffs. They should make the playoffs. They should make the playoffs.
21:22 And the way you just talked about it, because they play absolute garbage.
21:31 I'm giving you real facts. Now, here's what I saw last night. I'm going to start from the start
21:35 because McCarthy wins the toss and he defers and mistake. You know, you, you think, oh, I got a
21:41 better, my defense is better. That's what you thought. That's what you thought. I'm going to
21:46 show you what happened on the first play of the game. If I could show you what Donovan Wilson did,
21:50 this is where I immediately tweeted. This is a really bad sign. So this is the McCaffrey and he
21:55 gets his little two, three yards and Donovan Wilson keeps comes flying up from the safety
22:00 position and just grabs him by the mask. You can't it's poor coaching. It's poor preparation.
22:06 It's poor focus. It's just something that good teams do not do on the first play of a big game
22:12 of that magnitude. Richard knows this by the way, Richard, I got a quick question. Is Dan Quinn
22:17 overrated? Is that possible? He just doesn't have the talent like he did in Seattle with elite
22:23 players at every level who are really killers. So I knew that that was a bad sign in it. It became
22:29 a worse sign because San Francisco goes 75 and 11 plays 75 yards and 11 with not even going to third
22:35 down one time. And I just said, that's a joke. And that is, it is indicative of what's going
22:41 to happen. You go back and look at my Twitter timeline. I said, that's no good. And then
22:46 Dax first throw the knife. I need to know about Dax first off. Cause he'll make it. If he'll just
22:50 make a nice, easy six, seven yard throw to CD lamb, he'll get in some kind of comfort zone,
22:56 but he goes to the rookie, figure it out, Luke Schoenmaker. And let me show you this throw
23:01 because the man is open. The man is open. In fact, he's wide open and he misses him five yards high.
23:08 And I immediately tweet. That is a really bad sign. Give him something easy, man.
23:12 Okay. It was a harder throw, but Luke Schoenmaker is just, he's just running wide open just,
23:18 and he's like six, four or five. Just hit him. Just you missed him by five yards. Cause you're
23:23 over amped and you're deer in headlights and you're choking your guts out. That's what's happening.
23:28 All right. Then we, we go to, we have a third down play. We stop you guys. And cause you're,
23:34 you guys, we stop you and curse lines up offside. It's just bad focus, bad coaching,
23:40 bad preparation. You're, you're just off. So you're offsides on a play that we actually stopped and
23:45 we're going to get the football back and it's seven or nothing. And I'm thinking, okay, way
23:48 to go. And he just lined up offsides in the on Kittle. I think he's on Kittle. Yeah. All right.
23:53 And that's what those type of dudes do. Now we, now we get to the Pollard fumble.
23:58 Tony Pollard has not fumbled the football since his rookie year. So it's been four years of no
24:02 fumbling and here he goes. And he has one nice little burst where he actually gets a little
24:08 loose on coming up the sideline from trying to get them out of jail and all pro friends.
24:12 So guess who he did and the ball. I didn't think this would recover in balance. That's
24:18 just you are Michael. Michael was sitting there screaming in my ear. You are Michael. It doesn't
24:22 matter what you think is what the people in the stripes think. The ball is not secured before
24:27 it goes out of bounds. He's rolling across. So now, so now you're saying that the referees in
24:32 the NFL was cheating for the 49. That's what you getting ready to tell me. They wanted the 49.
24:37 They got something going. They want the 49. Just give it to him. And then I got to show you one
24:45 last play. This is right before halftime. We still have a chance here to get back in the football
24:50 game and in little Brandon cooks, he does what he does best. He gets open deep and he's gone.
24:56 He's gone. And this is a hard throw this hard throw, but you got to make it. You got to stop
25:00 and set and throw. And he does not set and throw. Brandon cooks is gone. And if you hit him over
25:06 his shoulder in bounds, it's a touchdown. If it was a fifth, we'd all be drunk. Okay. But you got
25:10 to stop and set your feet, but he doesn't. He's running hard left. And you got to, you can't
25:14 throw that ball up the field. Skip. Okay. Yes, you can. If you stop hard, if you set hard with
25:19 your left foot and throw it up the field. Well, I've seen a lot, but my homes does it all the time.
25:24 Okay. So the point is, is, is Brock Purdy way, way better than Dak Prescott. Yeah. Yes he is.
25:33 He's sadly way better than Dak Prescott. But again, my defense doesn't show up in the second
25:39 half. I tweeted a halftime. This has 42 to seven written all over it. And it was 42 to 10. So,
25:44 okay. Way to go. All right. Enough about me enough about him and definitely enough about him.
25:50 It is time for the great Michael Irvin to come in here and restore order on this set. Do not miss
25:59 it because he's about to own a leash on the Cowboys.
