That's the guiding principle that make-up artist Muriel Vega Perez worked with when he did the natural glam make-up of young actress Xyriel Manabat for the ABS-CBN Ball 2023.
Muriel gave tips on having just one focal point for makeup "para kahit hindi siya mag-project nang mag-project, mukha pa rin siyang nagpo-project."

00:53 and got my nails prepped, hair treatment, and removed my semi-permanent hair extension.

01:07 Weeks before, I became consistent in going to Faces and Curves to take care of my skin.

01:31 Well, you know, honestly, it's my first time working with Cyril.
01:34 I was introduced by her manager, Ate Dianne.
01:39 But we've been talking through Viber, planning.
01:43 We're coordinating everything from the hairstyle, gown, and then makeup.
01:48 Once in a while, we can combine.
01:51 There's no definite, we just go with the flow.
01:54 We're checking once in a while while applying.
01:56 If it's working, we go. If it's not working, we adjust a little.
02:01 Of course, we follow Cyril's liking, her request.
