As the situation in Israel worsens, the United States of America is taking an active part in supporting its ally. A US Navy carrier group, led by USS Gerald Ford, is heading to the shores of Israel to strengthen military support in the region. According to The Wall Street Journal, the carrier is carrying 90 aircraft, including an F-35C, and is accompanied by a guided missile cruiser and several destroyers. Below the surface of the water, the group is accompanied by a nuclear submarine equipped with missiles.In conjunction with the naval deployment, the United States is sending a massive military aid package to Israel, including, among other things, weapons for the Iron Dome missile defense system.
