00:00 - You know, we tried to do our schedule

00:02 a little bit different this year.

00:03 We normally go out on the road and play home openers

00:06 for Power Five institutions.

00:08 This year, we strategically wanted to be at home

00:12 to kind of get our players' confidence up

00:14 and to get our fans engaged early.

00:17 And so we are, you know, wanting to play some of those games

00:21 that can help us in that regards.

00:23 But we are preparing for a very tough preseason schedule

00:26 as we always do.

00:27 Three or four of the teams that we will play

00:31 played in the NCAA tournament on last year.

00:34 These were teams that are ranked top 25.

00:37 And so I think my players are building themselves

00:42 to be competitive with our schedule,

00:45 but it's gonna be really tough.

00:46 It's gonna be really tough playing those games.

00:48 Last season, we wore ourselves out.

00:50 We traveled really far across to the West Coast.

00:54 We spent a lot of time over there.

00:56 And by the time we got to the conference time,

00:58 we were just beat up.

00:59 We were beat up.

01:00 And so we got more games that are a little bit closer to us.

01:05 We'll go to Puerto Rico for a week

01:06 and give our players an opportunity to hang out

01:09 and enjoy the sun and play great games.

01:12 And so I think our schedule was uniquely done this year.

01:17 It's a lot different.

01:18 So I'm excited to see how it unfolds.
