00:12 Talk about that well one of the things that the you see the talent level is here the players

00:18 Really engaged and have done a fantastic job coming in and being

00:22 Very receptive to all the things that's happening with this event and it's growing year after year after year

00:28 I think this is going to be the largest crowd that they've had in the three-year history of the event and

00:32 It continues to get better and better each and every year. You only had a couple players that

00:38 Did not participate that had an opportunity to participate

00:42 So that's saying a lot for the integrity of this particular event that they value it in the highest regard

00:49 Back earlier this year. You told me that

00:52 players who come to the legacy bowl usually

00:57 They give themselves an advantage

00:59 So to speak talk how large it is for those guys just be here to be in the presence of all the legendary

01:06 Figures as well

01:08 Well, it's very important because number one they get a chance to rub elbows with some of the greats that have played the game

01:13 Historically black colleges and universities the Mel Blount's that the Jimmy Giles the Doug Williams and people of that nature

01:21 And it's very important for them to be exposed and have an opportunity to rub elbows with sit down and have conversation

01:27 with those

01:29 That have played this game in our in the black college football Hall of Fame some of which also have gold jackets or in the pro

01:35 football Hall of Fame

01:36 So that's very very important plus the the other

01:39 Things that are open to these young men that come in here the first of all the student athletes

01:44 So they have to understand that there's going to be life after football

01:47 and when we talk about that one of the things that has been attached to this particular event is the career fair and

01:53 the career fair was as big as it's ever been this particular year where the players get an opportunity to go and meet with some

02:00 Of the recruiters from these major corporations and companies that come into New Orleans and take part in the legacy bowl week

02:06 It was tremendous 109 employers was there went around talking to the kids to the employers

02:13 Yes, just awesome how people were being hired on the spot as well. It were

02:17 It's very it's very large in addition to the players getting exposed to the to the career fair

02:24 The schools a lot of the university sent busloads of students from Alabama from Louisiana

02:30 To come and take part in the career fair, which I know for a fact a number of them like you said a moment ago

02:37 Receive offers from these corporations and companies to come to work. Yes. Well Charlie
