Tomekia Reed Shares The Jackson State Leaders and Captains.

00:00 this upcoming season is a sophomore Haley Breland.

00:04 She didn't play a whole lot last year, but

00:06 Haley has been one heck of a player in practice.

00:09 She works hard, she's in the gym every morning at 6am.

00:12 She does not miss a day.

00:14 And because of her work ethics, her team has voted her to be our captain.

00:19 And I agree with them, she's the one.

00:22 And so I'm excited about her because she's hungry and

00:25 her hunger is pushing the other players to be great.

00:29 And so I'm really happy to see her in that leadership role.

00:35 And we have Keishonna Luckett, my point guard.

00:37 She's been in my program, this will be her fifth year.

00:40 So she knows me, she knows what our expectations are.

00:43 So she'll be able to help lead our program as well.

00:47 So I'm excited for her in that position.

00:50 And then we have Maya Crump.

00:52 Maya Crump didn't play last year, but

00:56 Maya has a lot to say because she watched a lot go down.

00:59 And so she is not wanting it to happen again like that this year.

01:03 So she's been very vocal, and it's been working for us.

01:07 And last but not least, Ta'yon Bowler.

01:12 She has just awakened to be such an outstanding person

01:17 who does not tolerate average mediocrity.

01:22 And so she has had a very strong voice as well.

01:26 So our captains are on it.

01:28 And so we are very thankful for

01:31 who we have to represent our leadership this year.
