It just looks different now with the Chicago Bears passing attack says coach Matt Eberflus, and part is on QB Justin Fields but the rest lies elsewhere.

00:03 I mean, you can just see the confidence.
00:18 So when you have growth in your profession, or my profession,
00:24 or him being a pro quarterback, you can just feel it.
00:27 And you can feel the guys around him, the comfort level,
00:30 and the confidence that they're having,
00:32 the chemistry that they're having.
00:34 You can see it in practice.
00:35 You can see it in the games.
00:37 And to me, it's just about the growth.
00:39 It's about the execution, and then the consistency
00:41 of that execution.
00:42 So in the games, in practice, we've seen it.
00:46 Obviously, he's 43 of 64 for almost 700 yards
00:51 the last two games.
00:53 So ATD's one interception.
00:56 So that's growth.
00:57 That's really where it is.
00:59 And then the consistency of that, just stacking games
01:02 like he had the last two, just keep stacking them up.
01:05 And that's what he wants to see.
01:07 Yeah, I think it starts with the run game,
01:10 being able to really establish that.
01:11 And I think the guys are really doing a good job with that,
01:15 being able to build to run the ball, because that sets up
01:18 a lot of things.
01:19 And that's what we want to do.
01:21 And then the passing game has been multiple.
01:24 We've been throwing from the pocket, in-roll passes,
01:27 in direct rolls, misdirection movement plays,
01:30 using solid protection to throw the ball down the field,
01:33 releasing everybody, throwing quicks, which we haven't done.
01:37 So there's been a lot of multiplicity to it.
01:39 And I think it's hard to defend.
01:41 And the looks have been different.
01:44 The looks from last week were different than this week,
01:46 and then so forth.
01:47 It's got to keep doing that, because you've
01:49 got to make it look different, even though you're
01:51 running the same type of concepts.
01:53 I just think the comfort level.
01:54 The comfort level, and I think you
01:56 see him having more poise when he's in the pocket
02:00 and when we're moving him out of the pocket.
02:02 And I think he's getting the chemistry with the group.
02:05 Overall, you can see great chemistry with DJ, and Cole,
02:09 and Mooney, and the rest of the guys that are cutting for us.
02:13 And you can see that in practice.
02:15 And he feels more comfortable making those throws now.
02:18 And it's going to continue to grow.
02:20 No, I think some of that is--
02:23 sometimes it happens that way.
02:26 But I also do-- you create your own luck.
02:29 You create your own luck with how you work
02:31 and how you prepare.
02:32 And if you put yourself in position to make plays,
02:36 and the playmakers to make those plays in certain situations,
02:41 they make them.
02:42 DJ made that play in that moment,
02:45 because he's a really good player,
02:47 and we put him in the situation.
02:48 So-- and he made the play.
02:50 So it was really good.
