00:00 We are in the Obornicki Cultural Centre, which is very hospitable for us.
00:06 All our meetings take place in this building.
00:10 Today we are inaugurating the 20th year of our university activities.
00:16 Today we have almost 400 members.
00:19 In the morning of our classes, we have lectures, which take place twice a month.
00:24 We have 14 sections of activities, so everyone will find something nice for themselves.
00:30 We also have three big events, which we organize cyclically.
00:34 This is the Bridge Tournament. There were already 10 editions.
00:38 In two weeks we will have the second round of cabarets.
00:42 And the third big event is the March Nordic Walking, also 10 editions.
00:48 Our classes are mainly aimed at people over 60.
00:52 However, if someone younger wants to come to our lectures, they are open.
00:57 We do not close the door for anyone.
01:00 Our most important task is to activate the elderly,
01:04 to get them out of the house, to make them more interested
01:10 and to integrate them among our members.
01:15 We invite everyone who wants to actively participate in our life.
01:20 We have a very active volunteer team and we are short of people.
