00:00 Aaron Gold from MotorTrend. This is Cadillac's new SUV, the Lyric. If you think it looks
00:04 funky on the outside, you have to see it on the inside. We've seen a lot of production
00:09 cars that look like concept vehicles, but this one looks like the sketch of a concept
00:14 vehicle. I mean, look at these beautiful sweeping lines on the dashboard, this gigantic curved
00:19 screen that goes full whip. I mean, this is the kind of thing we see in design proposals,
00:24 not real vehicles. If you love retrofuturism, this is your car, because there are so many
00:29 classic 1960s and earlier Cadillac hues. All this chrome, for example, and it's a blind
00:35 human being. Look at this beautiful Cadillac script. This is straight out of the 1960s.
00:41 This motif around the cup holders, this reminds me of the wreath from the old Wreath and Crest
00:45 logo. And I love these big giant vents. They look like from the jet motif that all the
00:52 designers were using in the '60s. To me, this is like the vision of a Cadillac of 2065 as
00:58 it was designed in 1965. I think it is totally cool. Unfortunately, some of the bits are
01:04 a little cheap feeling. This plastic knob feels very plasticky, and the way it drives
01:09 is a bit like a 1960s Cadillac as well. But it is one of the coolest looking cars here.
01:15 This is the single motor version. It has a 340 horsepower electric motor driving the
01:20 rear axle, and it has a very healthy 312 miles of range. There is a dual motor version on
01:26 the way, and Cadillac has hinted at some high performance V versions. One of the best parts
01:30 is the price. Pricing for this thing starts at just under $63,000 before incentives, and
01:35 for something so unique and so futuristic, that's a really reasonable deal. I'm Aaron
01:40 Gold from Motor Trend. For more about anything you want to know about driving or vehicles
