The Royal Australian Mint unveiled on Thursday (Oct 5) the new King Charles III effigy that will feature on Australian coins.
The effigy is expected to appear on the one-dollar coin by Christmas time, Assistant Minister for Treasury Andrew Leigh said at a news conference, with the rest of the coins to be rolled out in 2024.
