00:02 Is the new BMW M5 the greatest sedan ever made?
00:06 Maybe.
00:08 Okay, BMW M5, 600 horsepower, all wheel drive,
00:22 they got rid of the dual clutch,
00:23 it's now an eight speed ZF automatic,
00:25 it's 60 miles an hour in three seconds flat.
00:28 It runs a quarter mile in 11.1 seconds.
00:32 It does a figure eight in 23.3, which is nuts.
00:35 And they put no extra design effort into making this car.
00:39 It is the ultimate sleeper, the ultimate Q-ship.
00:43 I was kinda bored by it at first,
00:45 but then you like, you know,
00:46 let's put everything into M dynamic mode.
00:49 It is just so fun.
00:51 It's such a fun car.
00:54 It's a fun car.
00:55 And it's faster than anything else out there.
01:01 It's one of those cars that's constantly going
01:02 90 miles an hour no matter what.
01:05 Also, unlike the AMG where it's like the old contra game,
01:08 up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right,
01:09 to get it into two wheel drive mode,
01:11 I programmed my M button here, bam, bam,
01:14 I'm now in rear wheel drive.
01:15 It was that quick and that easy.
01:17 This new M5, this 230 version,
01:19 it's an interesting car because if you drove it every day
01:21 and never buried your right foot,
01:23 never unleashed the fury of that twin turbo 4.4 liter V8,
01:27 it would just be a great, luxurious sedan.
01:29 But then when you bury it,
01:30 I mean, you're in this just, this time warp machine.
01:34 It's crazy.
01:35 So, is it the best sedan ever made?
01:38 Well, no, nothing is, but it's pretty damn good.
