This video is a quick demonstration on a technique I know and use for Felling forward leaning tree's

Leaning tree's need to be felled differently to upright tree due to the increased pressure on the wood fibre and grain, certain species of tree are alot more prone to splitting such as Ash and Aspen so a greater deal of caution needs to be taken when working with them.

This technique demonstrates a tried and tested method to fell forward leaning tree whilst maintaining control and minimising the risk.
