Beauty Tech Day L’Oréal Italia, Balooch: “Innovazione permette di esplorare nuove frontiere bellezza”

00:02 - Well, the way that innovation applies
00:06 to the beauty world today is we're in a new world of beauty
00:09 where frontiers that we've never worked on
00:12 are now becoming part of what we do,
00:14 like technology and health and wellness.
00:17 But the most important is how can we use technology
00:20 to enable us to have a better environmental footprint,
00:23 but still have incredible services for our consumers.
00:26 And the same when it comes to inclusivity,
00:28 which is developing services and technology
00:31 that let each individual have the perfect product for them.
00:35 Well, I can give you two examples of products
00:37 that we've developed in the last few years.
00:39 The first is called ColorSonic.
00:41 It's an incredible new product,
00:43 which essentially allows you to be able to mix the hair color
00:47 at home without touching anything.
00:49 You just comb your hair.
00:51 And you know, for many years, for 50 years,
00:53 people had to actually have a whole messy way
00:55 of mixing hair color at home.
00:57 And this eliminates that thanks to the tech
00:59 that we've developed.
01:00 The other project that we have is called Brow Magic.
01:03 It's really interesting.
01:04 It's a collaboration with a Korean startup called Prinker.
01:07 And essentially what you do is you go on the application
01:10 and using augmented reality,
01:12 you can see the shape of the brow that we recommend to you.
01:15 You just put the device on the top of your nose, swipe,
01:18 and it will automatically shape your brow
01:20 in a matter of seconds.
01:21 It's magical, but it also solves a real problem for people,
01:25 which is not having to do stencil work
01:27 to draw hundreds of lines
01:28 and be able to get that result anytime you want.
