00:18 I am an ideal target because I do buy a lot of leggings,
00:20 but I'm getting kind of tired of it, to be honest.
00:23 So today we're gonna see, is Fabletics a scam
00:26 or is it actually worth it?
00:27 Because to be honest, two leggings for $24
00:30 is kind of throwing me off.
00:31 I'm like, one pair of leggings for $24 is affordable,
00:35 so two, I'm like, could these possibly be good?
00:39 Or are they just trying to get us
00:40 to sign up for their VIP membership?
00:42 So I asked you guys what the best Fabletics leggings were
00:45 because I went on their website
00:46 and I immediately was overwhelmed.
00:48 And you guys all said that the Powerhold leggings
00:50 were the best.
00:51 So I looked into it a little more
00:53 and Powerhold seems to be like
00:54 their most compressive fabric or something.
00:57 So yeah, I went to look at their Powerhold leggings
01:00 and the only solid colors they had
01:02 were only in pink and black.
01:04 So I was a little confused.
01:06 A lot of them seemed to be sold out.
01:07 So with all the ads that Fabletics puts out,
01:10 I would think that they would be the kind of brand,
01:12 kind of like Lululemon,
01:13 that always has stock and everything.
01:15 But it seems like a lot of stuff is sold out.
01:17 The Powerhold leggings are only coming in two colors
01:20 when it says they have all these color options.
01:23 I don't know if maybe I'm coming at a bad time or something.
01:26 I also wanted to get a pair of Seamless leggings.
01:28 And I don't think they're known for their Seamless leggings,
01:31 but they don't have a lot of them.
01:33 So I added the five pairs of leggings to my cart
01:35 and they were all around 40-ish, 50-ish something.
01:38 And all of a sudden,
01:39 they're adding all these 50% off coupon codes.
01:42 I didn't even ask them to do that,
01:44 but I'm not gonna say no.
01:45 So without tax, it's $98 for five pairs of leggings.
01:49 That's less than $20 for a pair of leggings,
01:52 which is literally cheaper than Amazon
01:53 because my favorite Amazon leggings
01:55 are usually around like 25.

02:44 but you didn't just get charged the $50.

03:23 I'm gonna go over all the leggings I got,
03:24 a few details that the website says,
03:26 and then we're gonna try on and see how they are.
03:29 Okay, so first I have the Powerhold leggings.
03:31 Oh, okay, so they're actually kind of
03:34 almost a brushed legging.
03:35 They definitely have that soft fabric that might pill.
03:40 Okay, here is a closeup of the fabric.
03:42 You can see it definitely has that fuzzy texture.
03:45 I can't tell if I like light or no light.
03:46 We're gonna do no light
03:47 'cause it makes you look a little less pale.
03:49 I got the size small and this is the color Rose Bloom.
03:52 Okay, I'm impressed.
03:53 They actually have a seamless waistband.
03:54 It feels double thickness.
03:56 This fabric is definitely really thick and heavy.
03:59 So these leggings were originally $44.95,
04:01 but obviously I got them at the VIP deal,
04:03 so they're much cheaper.
04:04 Okay, it says that they are a four-way stretch.
04:07 It says they are the highest compression
04:09 'cause they are the Powerhold fabric.
04:11 It also says they're sweat wicking.
04:12 Usually when I think of sweat wicking and performance,
04:14 I think of that slick kind of texture fabric,
04:17 and this is definitely not a slick texture.
04:19 It also says it's suited for squatting,
04:21 so we will see if they're actually squat proof.
04:24 I feel like I always see on their ads
04:25 like throwing shade at other leggings
04:27 for not being squat proof.
04:28 So we're gonna see if they're actually squat proof
04:30 because that'd be pretty bad if they weren't
04:31 given the shade that they throw.
04:33 The Powerhold fabric is an 88% polyester, 12% spandex blend.
04:37 It has a little gusset crotch here.
04:39 All right, I really hope that these aren't really hard
04:42 to get on or anything
04:43 just 'cause they're so thick and compressive.
04:44 They definitely have some stretch to them,
04:46 but they definitely feel a little bit on the stiff side.
04:48 So let's see.
04:49 Okay, so they're not the best fit on me,
04:52 and I do feel like they're kind of squishing my butt down.
04:55 So here they are.
04:58 They definitely feel really compressive,
04:59 and I feel like they're holding in my legs very nicely.
05:02 They have some little booty seams.
05:06 They make a lot of ads that say that Fabletics
05:08 are the most flattering leggings on your butt,
05:11 and I'm sorry, but a really compressive legging
05:13 is just not going to be the most flattering
05:14 legging on your butt.
05:15 It doesn't have to be unflattering,
05:17 but it's just gonna squish your butt down a little bit.
05:19 I did do a glute workout before this,
05:21 so I might have a little glute pump, you know?
05:24 Yeah, I mean, it's flattering.
05:25 My butt looks pretty good,
05:27 but I don't think it's like my best butt ever.
05:28 The waistband is seamless.
05:30 My only thing is that it is a little big on me,
05:32 and I definitely could not have sized down
05:33 because let me tell you,
05:35 I had to do some pulling to get these on.
05:36 So they definitely need to taper their waistband
05:39 in a little more, I guess.
05:40 I don't usually have this problem with leggings.
05:42 It's the thing, so I don't know.
05:44 They have a little Fabletics logo here.
05:46 Definitely would be good for cellulite
05:48 because they are very thick and compressive,
05:50 and they really just hold you in.
05:51 Definitely a 7/8 length.
05:53 So yeah, I'll give them a medium on the booty scale
05:55 because I don't think my butt looks bad.
05:57 It's just not gonna give them that extra boost
06:00 that a really thin legging that doesn't compress at all would.
06:03 Luckily, we have no camel toe going on
06:05 because that's something I cannot stand.
06:06 They're definitely pretty soft.
06:08 If I had to compare them to a Lululemon legging,
06:10 I would probably compare them to the Luon fabric,
06:13 except this is definitely thicker
06:15 and a little less stretchy.
06:17 For $12, these aren't a bad pair of leggings.
06:20 They're pretty good.
06:21 They feel pretty good quality.
06:21 If you like thicker leggings,
06:23 if you live somewhere really hot,
06:24 these might be a little warm.
06:25 They feel just a little too stiff and compressive for me.
06:29 I definitely feel my knees bending in them right now,
06:31 and I like to feel a little more free in my leggings,
06:33 and I wish the waistband was a little tighter.
06:35 So I'm not like, wow,
06:37 these are the best leggings I've ever had,
06:39 but they're okay.
06:40 But that's just, you guys know
06:42 that I'm pretty brutally honest in my reviews.
06:45 So, okay, let's check the squat test.

06:51 These are the Sailor Solid Power Hold Crop Leggings.
07:03 Okay, so these are not high-waisted,
07:05 and these do have a seam at the top of the waistband,
07:07 and I don't like seams at the top of the waistband.
07:10 The waistband's also much shorter.
07:12 They are not a high waist.
07:14 I bet these are about a mid-rise.
07:15 The website description is very similar
07:17 to the high-waisted Power Holds,
07:19 so I'm not really gonna go into that very much.
07:20 These are a cropped legging.
07:22 Feel very similar to the last ones.
07:24 Definitely have a lot of structure.
07:26 You can see that they don't really flow very easily.
07:29 They're definitely very stiff.
07:31 One thing about this really thick fabric
07:32 is it's probably cellulite-friendly,
07:34 so that's pretty good.
07:35 Okay, honestly, the fabric is kind of growing on me.
07:38 It does really hold you in very nicely,
07:40 and makes you feel nice and snug.
07:42 If you really like leggings to really hold you in
07:44 and compress you, they're not a bad option.
07:46 My only thing is, I just, I don't know why
07:48 I'm having trouble with their waistbands.
07:50 These are, this is definitely too big for me.
07:53 You guys know I'm almost always a small,
07:55 so I'm a little confused about their size range.
07:58 Also, to be honest, I did have to struggle
08:00 to get these on my legs again, and then the waist is loose,
08:03 so I really couldn't have sized down,
08:06 because it's just too tight on my legs,
08:08 and it's just a little loose up here.
08:10 Because it's loose, obviously,
08:11 the top band isn't cutting into me.
08:13 It's also not giving me a ton of compression,
08:15 just because it's a little loose,
08:17 but I would assume it would give compression otherwise.
08:19 This is definitely a mid-rise.
08:21 These are below the belly button.
08:23 I prefer a high-rise, but I know some people
08:25 don't like them to be too high-rise.
08:27 They do put the seam line above your butt,
08:30 so it doesn't cut off your butt,
08:31 so that means they're a little more flattering
08:32 on your booty, make them look a little bigger.
08:35 So, good on you, Fabletics, that is one of my pet peeves,
08:37 when the little seam line goes in the middle of your butt.
08:40 It's up here, we good.
08:41 So yeah, these are capri, but they are mid-calf capri,
08:43 which I prefer to be below-knee capris.
08:46 Again, no camel toe, and probably free from cellulite,
08:49 because of the thickness and the compression.
08:51 So these are just okay for me.
08:52 I'm a little upset about the sizing,
08:54 'cause there's not really much I can do about that.
08:56 But yeah, I mean, they are really soft.
08:59 I worry about pilling.

09:03 Next, I have the Mila Pocket Capris.
09:12 These are also made out of the Powerhold fabric.
09:14 So, you guys said that this was the best fabric,
09:16 and apparently they think so too,
09:17 because they have a lot of leggings with this fabric.
09:20 So, they have a seamless waistband.
09:22 They're high-waisted.
09:23 They even have a little pocket on the inside, which is nice.
09:26 They have some mesh panel detailing,
09:28 so you are going to get some breathability down the leg.
09:30 They have a phone pocket,
09:32 so we'll see if it fits my iPhone.
09:33 I don't have the iPhone Plus or anything,
09:35 just the regular one.
09:36 Oh, these were originally $64.95.
09:39 That's kind of expensive.
09:40 It kind of bothers me when places
09:41 make their prices really high,
09:42 and they just give you a lot of sales.
09:44 I know that's good, but it's just like,
09:46 why don't you just make them one price?
09:48 So yeah, I think I'm most excited about these,
09:49 just 'cause they seem really cute,
09:51 and I don't know, they feel like Mila Pocket Capris.

09:58 I think, oh, we have a nice big fuzz that came off them.

10:03 So already, I'm noticing that this little band
10:06 is a little tight on my calves.
10:07 I do have really big calves,
10:09 but that's a pet peeve of mine,
10:10 and it is going to give me that, I don't know, red band,
10:13 and just be really uncomfortable there.
10:15 So yeah, again, legs are a little tight.
10:18 I don't have as much room in the waistband in these.
10:20 It's just not quite flush to my skin.
10:22 They do have a nice big phone pocket in here,
10:25 or these are more of a key pocket,
10:26 but it's pretty big.
10:28 These would absolutely fit a phone.
10:30 It fits most of my hand, and it is mesh, which is cute.
10:33 And then I like the mesh detail down the leg.
10:35 I think that's definitely switching it up a little bit.

10:39 Again, the seam line goes above my butt,
10:41 so that is flattering.
10:42 But yeah, I just feel like they're a little tough
10:44 to get on my legs.
10:45 It's tight on my calves.
10:47 It's loose in my waist.
10:49 Obviously, these are personal fit things,
10:51 but I don't think my body is that different
10:53 than other people that are in a size small,
10:55 so I don't know.
10:57 They're just okay for me.
10:59 They feel soft, but they also kind of give me,
11:01 I feel like, a little unibut.
11:03 Like, it's not really allowing for much booty separation
11:05 because the fabric is so thick.
11:07 I feel like it's just kind of going over my butt.
11:10 But I don't think it's super unflattering.
11:12 I'm just not crazy about it.

11:16 Okay, so these are the printed Powerhold Cam Leggings.
11:25 I was thinking I wasn't gonna need to talk
11:27 about these very much because they're supposed
11:29 to be the same as the high-waisted Powerholds,
11:32 but the fabric definitely feels different.
11:33 It says it's the same fabric composition
11:35 as the solid high-waisted Powerholds,
11:38 but it definitely feels different.
11:39 I'll show you a closeup.
11:40 So yeah, as you can see, it doesn't have that same
11:43 like fuzziness or brushed texture.
11:45 It's still definitely not that slick performance material
11:48 that I was expecting out of the Fabletics leggings,
11:50 but it definitely seems less prone to pilling
11:53 and it's less fuzzy.
11:54 These again, also have the seamless waistband.
11:57 I feel like their waistbands would offer a lot of compression
11:59 'cause they don't seem like super stretchy.
12:01 Okay, let's see how these compare to the other Powerholds.
12:04 I just wanted to show you that I'm like really struggling
12:06 to get these up my legs.
12:08 It's not quite at my crotch yet
12:09 and these just don't have a lot of stretch.

12:15 These are even worse than the regular Powerholds.
12:19 They're finally on.
12:20 Waistband is a little loose again.
12:22 They're tight on my legs.
12:23 These were even harder to get on than the solid Powerholds.
12:26 They aren't quite as soft.
12:27 Seam is above my butt again.
12:29 Yeah, they just, they feel super restrictive.
12:32 Like I would not really feel comfortable squatting in these.
12:35 My butt feels super tight right now.
12:37 They don't feel like a very forgiving legging
12:40 that I would like to just like move around in.
12:42 I just honestly feel super restricted
12:44 and these are supposed to be for performance leggings.
12:46 They're supposed to be for squatting
12:48 and I don't like how my butt feels when I squat.
12:51 It feels very tight.
12:52 I don't know if it's just like this color
12:53 of the pattern leggings, but I'm really not feeling these.
12:56 I just feel restrictive and they don't fit me great.

13:02 Now for the seamless leggings.
13:10 I actually expected these seamless leggings
13:12 to be on the softer side,
13:14 but these are kind of feeling
13:15 like the slick performance material.
13:17 It's not quite the shiny slick material,
13:19 but it doesn't have any of the fuzziness.
13:21 These do have some cute eyelets at the bottom,
13:23 which is fun.
13:24 It does have a thick ribbed seamless waistband
13:26 and it has that little like a raised line
13:29 in between like the booty parts
13:31 and I guess the front part.
13:32 It kind of gives a little separation to your butt.
13:34 It's like a fake seam.
13:36 I don't really know why they do it in the front
13:37 because I feel like that could just give you some camel toe,
13:39 but interesting.
13:41 I've definitely heard mixed things
13:42 about these seamless leggings.
13:44 So I hope that they are somewhat good
13:46 because I personally love seamless leggings.
13:48 These are a 94% viscose, 6% elastane.
13:52 I don't know what viscose is guys,
13:54 but they feel nice.
13:55 They call this a second skin breathable fabric.
13:58 I mean, I don't really think they're gonna be second skin.
14:00 They don't feel like super, super thin.
14:02 It also says that you can take these
14:03 from the studio to a Sunday walk.
14:06 So it doesn't sound like they're performance gym leggings.
14:09 So interested to see if they will be squat proof or not.
14:11 Okay, so these are my only leggings
14:13 that aren't the power hold fabric
14:14 and they're the only ones I actually like.
14:17 So I feel like these are so much stretchier.
14:21 These are the seamless leggings.
14:22 They're definitely flattering on my butt.
14:24 They're not squishing my butt down.
14:26 These are like 10 times stretchier than the power holds.
14:30 I actually can move in them and not feel restricted.
14:33 They are like super high waist.
14:34 Like it's a decent amount over my belly button.
14:37 And again, it's just like the teeniest bit big in the waist,
14:40 but it doesn't bother me as much as the others.
14:42 Double thickness ribbed seamless waistband.
14:45 I'm not in love with this little seam here.
14:46 I think the little mesh detail at the bottom is really cute.
14:49 These like kind of remind me
14:50 of the original Gymshark seamless leggings in a way.
14:53 Oh, they have like a little subtle Fabletics logo right here.
14:56 I can move 10 times better in these.
14:59 Like they did say that they are more for yoga and walking.
15:01 I don't see any reason why you couldn't take these
15:03 to the gym unless they're incredibly sheer,
15:05 but we're gonna check that in a minute.
15:06 The cellulite coverage is probably not as good,
15:09 but I still feel like these are decently thick
15:11 that you probably have like cellulite friendly.
15:13 Not really getting any camel toe,
15:14 maybe a bit of like single camel.
15:16 So yeah, and these are full length on me.
15:19 I'm pretty flattered with the booty.
15:20 I give these a like definitely higher
15:22 than the other ones on the booty scale for sure.
15:24 Yeah, these are definitely my favorite of the leggings
15:26 and I thought I would like these the least.

17:07 and allow me to move because if I wanna do some stretching
17:10 after my workout, I don't wanna be restricted by my leggings.

17:16 They have that nice, slick material, very stretchy.

17:23 And for like 20, $25 for a pair of leggings,
17:26 I'd say definitely go for the seamless.
