00:15 I'm Rania Nifdos for Billboard News.
00:20 It's Thursday, September 28th and we're starting the day off with a little K-pop roundup.
00:25 New songs and new anthems and new records and new digs.
00:29 There's a lot going on in the world of K-pop, so let's break it down.
00:33 Yesterday, Jungkook teased his new song 3D with Jack Harlow.
00:37 And today, he's giving us a little behind the scenes action.
00:40 It's giving MJ, it's giving JT.
00:48 We see you, JK.
00:50 We've got news for you blinks as well.
00:52 Adidas dropped a new ad featuring Jennie and she's dishing out life lessons in it.
00:56 One piece of advice.
00:58 That always stays in my heart and I tell myself all the time.
01:02 Is to really love yourself.
01:05 Speaking of BLACKPINK, Lisa just earned herself a Guinness World Record.
01:09 Give me the drops, the money, dropping off my money.
01:13 Her song "Money" just became the first song by a solo K-pop artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
01:20 But B.P. aren't the only girl group making money moves.
01:23 Riot Games announced New Genes will sing this year's League of Legends World Anthem.
01:27 Go, go, go, go.
01:31 Go, go, go, go.
01:33 GODS will join the ranks of Imagine Dragons, Warriors and last year's Star Walkin' by Lil Nas X.
01:38 I cannot wait to hear those songs.
01:41 I'm sure they're going to be all over TikTok.
01:43 But here are some songs on the top of the TikTok Billboard Top 50 this week.
01:48 Famous Sally and YB hold on to the top spot.
01:51 But a batch of hits make their mark in the top 10, including a classic.
01:55 What's up, G-Way? In the club with my twin, we be vibin'.
01:59 Famous Sally and YB's "What's Up, G-Way?" is still at number one on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 for the chart dated September 30th.
02:07 And while we see some familiar faces in the top 10, we've got some fresh faces too.
02:12 Earth, Wind & Fire's "September" made a comeback at number three this week for obvious reasons.
02:18 Do you remember when it first started? September.
02:24 Maluma and Karen León's "Según Quién" lands at number seven and we are definitely not mad about it.
02:30 Lil Yachty, Future and Playboi Carti's 2020 song "Flex Up" jumps from 25 to 8.
02:39 And Tate McRae rounds out the top 10 with her new hit "Greedy."

03:10 Speaking of charts, the Beatles have broken record after record and today we're looking back at their successes in this week's Pop Culture Rewind.
03:21 There's no group like the Beatles. Before BTS, before Taylor Swift, the Beatles captivated fans with "Beetlemania" and the legendary band had the hits to back up the hysteria.
03:32 We break down their Billboard chart achievements in this week's Pop Culture Rewind.
03:50 From "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" in 1964 to "Making Us Come Together."
03:54 The Beatles have amassed a record setting 20 number ones on the Billboard Hot 100, the most of any artist.
04:04 At one point, the Beatles held all top five spots on the chart with everybody wanting to twist and shout.
04:16 That record was held until September of 2021 when Drake grabbed the top five slot.
04:21 John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr are one of the most influential groups of all time, setting the standard for fan culture, boy bands and more.
04:35 And get this, they also have 19 number one albums on the Billboard 200 with projects like "Please Please Me" and "Abbey Road."
04:43 Bringing them to a whopping 132 weeks at number one, easily ranking them as the act with the most weeks atop the chart.
04:50 It'll be a long time before anyone ever does it again quite like the Beatles.
04:59 We'll have another huge moment for you next week in our Pop Culture Rewind.
05:08 You already know Billboard offers you all your music news, interviews and of course charts, but now we've got games too.

05:53 Before I let you go, Mike Towers stopped by to tell us what it was like growing up in Puerto Rico and becoming a huge recording artist.
06:01 I was born in Puerto Rico. Growing up there helped me a lot in my upbringing, in how I am.
06:06 I learned a lot, I'm a product of that environment that I had in the past.
06:10 There were a lot of parties, people were always with background music to clean, to work.
06:16 It was always a party atmosphere. I was always involved in the culture, in hip hop.
06:21 I studied music, sports and fashion, I always studied it as a kid.
06:27 I was this type of student that the teachers realized that without forcing me, it happened and that's why I didn't put the extra mile.
06:36 And they themselves told me, "Hey, you're going crazy, you can give more."
06:40 But when I was interested in something, I showed it. I saw it as an escape, the music.
06:45 And I told my mom, "I'm going to sing."
06:48 She said, "Where did you get that crazy idea?"
06:51 I have to show her with concrete things, since I'm on the other side, so I can tell her, "Hey, I'm going to do this."
06:58 And no one told me anything. But it was a process, it wasn't like that in the morning.
07:02 I dedicated time to music, but I disconnected.
07:05 When they put headphones on me, I was no longer where I was in my body.
07:09 I was really...
