00:00 big influence was your dad in sort of encouraging you to play?
00:02 I wouldn't say he pushed me to play, like he was never that type to kind of push me to play,
00:07 but he always gave me the freedom to do what I wanted.
00:09 And I took a liking to football and he would always help me if I needed anything.
00:14 We'd always play in the garden and stuff and he'd always be there when he was to play.
00:19 So he was definitely massive for me, you know, him being a player and me just wanting to play football when I was young.
00:24 So he was an inspiration for me.
00:26 And yeah, he definitely helped me a lot.
00:29 How early on did you realise you wanted to follow in his footsteps and hopefully do it professionally?
00:34 I don't think I kind of really like... I just enjoyed playing, really.
00:39 I think there was never any pressure to push or anything.
00:41 I just always enjoyed playing football.
00:43 And fortunately, I was given a good environment to go and enjoy my football and play, like,
00:50 Sunday League and then to go to a Wigan and stuff.
00:53 So I was, yeah, I just, I always kind of had that freedom to go and play and I just enjoyed going.
