00:00 Lisa, thanks for joining us. An amazing game of deathball. First of all, how's the heart rate? It must have been very nerve-wracking on the bench.
00:07 Yes, it was. The heart rate got up pretty high with about two minutes to go, but I knew the girls had it in them, so we just stayed calm and got there in the end.
00:18 What was the most important part of today? I mean, belief in composure is really important in these pressure situations, but on the bench, what did you think the girls did well to get the job done?
00:31 I think it was our composure for the whole game. We had to make a few changes. Some were pre-planned, others weren't, and we knew within our ten that what we had on the bench and on the court was going to be good enough to get across the line.
00:48 So just the composure to stick with what we wanted to do was that.
00:55 There's obviously a very loud crowd and a lot of people around. I'd imagine for some of the girls they wouldn't have seen anything like it. Again, does it come down to just that composure and trusting what you did well to get there in the first place?
01:10 Yeah, I think so. I looked over towards their scoring box at one stage and they said two minutes to go, and I thought, "Oh, okay." And then I think with about 20 seconds to go, Sarah Smith, our wing defence, must have thought the siren went because she jumped up and celebrated.
01:28 Anyway, they worked it down and we held on.
01:31 Absolutely. From a club and community perspective, what does it mean to cap off the year with the hard work of the club and the supporters?
01:39 It's huge for our little town. Obviously, we're the smallest in the league. I feel like most of the town is here today. We had lots of buses come over. So for our loyal supporters and our little town, it's honestly the best.
01:55 Congratulations. I've been meaning to enjoy you for celebrating.
01:57 Thank you so much.
