00:00 Do you think it would improve women's safety if CCTV was put on the buses?
00:05 Yes. Just having that accountability I think. Not that we should have it, but I think everyone's
00:12 supposed to be safer if we know that there's precautions in place and all the things to
00:16 look back on just in case it does occur. Kind of a prevention rather than a cure I guess.
00:22 Oh 100%. I've got anxiety right through the roof, so yeah, 100% no.
00:28 Yeah, yeah. Just because if anything was to happen it could easily be proven.
00:35 Just so that if anything bad happened, everyone will know then that there's CCTV, something
00:42 that would be less likely for anything bad to happen. And if something did happen it
00:46 would be less of their word against the women's word and it would just be on the camera as
00:53 evidence I guess.
00:55 And do you feel less safe knowing that there's no CCTV on buses?
00:59 Maybe a little bit after that day at the top.
01:02 I think it will make just generically anyone who uses public transport safer, but it's
01:07 also the driver as well. There is a lot of concern when it comes down to the safety of
01:12 drivers as much as the guys who work there might have a lot of safety precautions in
01:19 place. I think CCTV is just a generic good will to have.
01:24 More than anything, and if there's a case that if anything does happen that you've got
01:28 footage to prove it and if it needs to go any further you've got that information as
01:32 well.
01:33 I think also, yeah, just in terms of having evidence and then feeling like there was something
01:39 to report or, yeah, just feeling there's an extra safety measure in place.
