00:02 - That old pocket watch does mean a lot to me.
00:09 It was given as a birthday present from dad.
00:12 It was made back when things were made to last.
00:14 Not like a lot of presents you get now,
00:16 you throw them away in a couple of years time.
00:19 It still works.
00:20 So that watch has really stood the test of time,
00:22 to pardon the pun, but it's been a good one.
00:25 - I love my Maggie's.
00:27 Someone asked me one day,
00:28 how come you're barred for the bagpipes?
00:30 I went and seen them when I was 16 with my cousin,
00:32 and I just loved the team from then on.
00:34 But I said, you know the other side of it?
00:36 And they said, what's that?
00:37 I said, I grew up white,
00:38 found out I was black,
00:39 so who else would I bar it for?
00:41 (laughing)
00:42 - This trophy is very special to me
00:44 because it's one of the ones that Sheila and I won.
00:47 We were getting on a bit in years,
00:49 but I was really pleased because at one stage,
00:52 we were playing that much golf
00:53 that the kids put our house up for sale.
00:56 (laughing)
00:57 - And it had a sign at the front for us.
00:59 (laughing)
01:02 - They went straight into Tokyo Bay.
01:04 They laid the mines to stop the ships coming out.
01:07 So they weren't very popular.
01:09 That's where the plane is now,
01:11 the bottom of Tokyo Bay,
01:12 and they left it there.
01:13 And of course they would be in it too.
01:15 That's their resting place.
01:18 - My vintage tiara means a lot to me.
01:21 I'm a pinup pageant model.
01:23 I was so lucky and honoured
01:25 to win Miss Retrofest Pinup Pageant in 2019.
01:29 And I think of all the women that it has passed through,
01:33 and I'm adding my memories to this tiara.
01:36 - It gives me everything I need in life.
01:39 And also it points forward to another world
01:43 when he's gonna make this world new.
01:45 The Bible teaches to be kind to your beast,
01:47 and the horses won't even be wild there.
01:49 They won't need me as a horse breaker.
01:53 - My mother was a musician,
01:55 and when she went to an Estetford at Charlestown,
02:00 she won, and that was in 1922.
02:03 So it makes it over a hundred year old,
02:06 and I just love it.
02:08 I treasure it.
02:09 - My brother introduced me to Athol.
02:12 We used to go to the dance.
02:14 Cheeky fella, great kisser.
02:16 I knew as soon as I kissed him,
02:17 I knew he was the one.
02:19 There was just those vibes when he kissed you.
02:22 It was just, you can get started.
02:25 (laughing)
02:27 - I couldn't play the chords with the other hand.
02:29 And because it's a slide guitar,
02:30 I just come along to the notes,
02:33 and whatever Shirley's chords are, I slide to them.
02:36 Oh, it's magic.
02:37 Yeah, I think it's a wonderful thing.
02:42 - My favourite thing that I always wanted to paint,
02:48 landscape and portraits and all sorts of things.
02:52 It's nice that I've got the first and last painting
02:56 that I did.
02:57 (laughing)
02:58 I just love it, 'cause I love to do it.
