00:00 Labour councillor Graham Downie was nominated and subsequently appointed to

00:04 be the new council spokesperson for health and social care on Thursday.

00:07 Health and social care is one of the most important areas that we know

00:11 that people across Fife are facing and struggling with. So social care in

00:15 particular we're seeing an aging population across Fife so really excited

00:19 to start working with people across parties as well as on the NHS board and

00:22 with the alcohol drug partnership as well to try and improve the situations

00:25 as best we can. I think in particular we're seeing issues with alcohol and

00:29 drugs get across Scotland and across Fife so I'm really looking forward to getting into
