00:39 rubble and infrastructure which were collapsed.
00:45 Basically we have three breeds of dog that include German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois
00:52 and Labrador Retriever.
00:54 So our master trainer select these dogs in early age when they are born they are put
01:00 to puppy training, basic training.

01:09 are issued to various organization along with the dog handlers.
01:16 Arms Explosive Search Dog Team they have been very successful in indicating and detecting
01:23 IEDs and they have detected hundreds of IEDs, large number of ammunition and arms and tons
01:31 of explosive.
01:32 So these detection has reduced the casualty ratio and the incidence of terrorist attacks
01:42 up to 90%.

02:27 Army Canine Center is training dog handlers in the art and science of dog handling because
02:33 these dogs they are very specialized dogs which do their work in the field.
02:37 So the handler must be able to understand and read the dog during its deployment.
02:43 If the dog handler is not trained well he cannot achieve the result with a good dog.
02:50 So the dog and handler should have a very good association in the field and during its
02:57 training.
02:59 These dogs are highly trained and in most of instances they are superior to the electronic
03:06 equipment and manpower which are doing this job.
